The Traitors (UK) S02E08

Last episode was camp and all but I enjoyed this one more
 
Harry is definitely the villain ascendent, and one I could see myself backing now that his TOXIC DADDY is gone.

We don't need another hero though
 
God what a FUCKAWFUL choice of traitor Andrew was :D How do people like that even end up applying? I can't imagine him hooked on Series One screaming for Amanda...

Paul was as pure a TV villain as we've had in a long, long time and I do hope his exit doesn't kill the momentum, but I suspect it probably will.
 
I felt that was a better episode than the past few. A few more voices got heard and some actual antagonism spilling over.
 
Watching now. Oh no, not more screen time for Andrew. Maybe he'll be good for not toeing Paul's line. Speaking of, that nervous laugh he did twice in episode 7 is still haunting me. Whilst they certainly pulled out all the stops for losing an icon, I'm just not sure I'll be that interested in the rest of this, but let's see I guess.
 
I really don't know why they don't all just agree to vote Paul.

Anyway, that wink in the car. Yeah, I'd go there (well, if he were 10 years older).

Especially as we know some of them had sussed Paul a while ago and others seem to have already decided pre-round table.

And the fact that Harry put the idea in Zack's head at the previous round table by mentioning the possibility of two Traitors going after each other.

And he's also voted for a Traitor every time they have left, although he's not the only one, so I don't think that will register particularly.

I do wonder if the fact that they have now got rid of Paul may make them finally open up to the idea that just because you like someone, it doesn't mean they aren't a Traitor. With Ash that didn't happen because I don't think people particularly did like her. But we've had two Traitors revealed in consecutive banishings now who they seemingly 'couldn't believe'. And I wonder if some of them were only ready to consider Paul last night after being right about Miles the previous time.

They will be allowed to carry on as just two Traitors until the end, won't they, assuming it's the same as last year? I think then Kieran was only recruited because there HAD to be two after Amanda's banishing, or else the game couldn't proceed as planned.

Harry does seem to have it set up very nicely. He's seemingly held in high regard now, if the penny doesn't drop, but if it does I don't think it will be quite yet with this group, or he'll be able to deflect for at least one more episode. There are still at least two or three Faithful left who I think attention can easily be steered towards at the round table, and he has Andrew there who appears to have no idea what's going on to throw under the bus when necessary.

Jaz is the only one who has voiced any suspicion about Harry, isn't he? I guess that's a concern now Paul isn't there to focus on, but then he's apparently been focused on Andrew when there was no reason to be focused on him. So I'll be interested to see where his vote goes next. If he does focus on Harry, he's one of the Faithful with enough heat on him for Harry to concentrate on that and get him banished anyway, I suspect.

I can't see appeal Love Island still has (for those it held initial appeal for). How many times can you watch somebody getting their tits sucked?
 
Yeah, there's one tonight then I think the last three are next week (on the same nights).

I realised that I'm at the theatre next Thursday so will miss the penultimate episode live :(
