Ha ha! Yes I've watched them all... :o But 41/42 was a sort of rebrand following the pandemic and they changed a lot of stuff up. But they repeated almost the same challenges and twists over those two seasons, which was interesting to see.
 
This has arrived on iPlayer! I managed almost 20 minutes before switching it off, I think forever. DREADFUL
 
I would recommend sticking with it, it definitely gets better after an episode or two (though isn't a patch on the UK series)
 
I think it’s on the same level as the UK one and the reality stars bring down the ridiculous over emotions.

Same problems as well, long episodes with the challenges being a bit boring. The discussions and round tables are a lot of fun.
 
We started this tonight and decided to stop after about twenty minutes. It just isn't the same :(
 
I've watched the first 4 and it's ok, but nowhere near as good as the UK one. I don't think it's just 'first timer' bias either. I think our casting was better, I think Claudia is better and I also think the music is better (which seems a minor thing, but it really sold the show for me). I also think our Traitors were better.
 
The music is definitely better in the UK version

Claudia also much better

The drama and tension is just as good though for me

But yeah overall the UK version edges it but episode 6 I’m just up to and it’s getting up there

There is also a lot more hatred amongst the cast in the US one
 
OMG! Why did nobody tell me that EKIN SU OF LOVE ISLAND FAME is taking part in season 2 of this?

It’s annoying because Claudia is SO much better than Alan but those gnomes win it every year without even doing anything sometimes (see the year Ant had off work and STILL fucking won it!)

Claudia won the BAFTA, didn't she? That's the obvious comparison to the Emmys, not the piece of shit NTV awards.
 
I think Claudia does a great job but Alan Cumming is excellent. Granted, they have different styles and deliveries but I'd rather watch him.
 
I absolutely know he's partly there to appease an American audience (this is so QUAINT!) and so was naturally resistant at first, but Alan fits it so well and never breaks.

Whereas Claudia gets too emotionally invested in the pretty young males. Sorry!

For me, it works because all of the US contestants are acting too!

Claudia is much better for the UK version because it's just more real in general.
 
I know it’s the POINT but Alan is a little too HAMMY for my tastes, but it could be worse, at least he’s not AMERICAN.
 


The clip of Bob saying "Baby I'm going to be employee of the month' in his entrance day 1 look - it's giving just recruited to be a traitor.
