While there has been an uptick in 16-18 year olds fawning over Farage, I can see this being a huge result for The Greens, kids are so aware that they are inheriting a fucked planet that I could see a huge swell in support for them.

Those and the hypothetical Corbyn party I'd say, which begs the question WHY Starmer has done this. Maybe to keep that Soft Left faction happy and not risk losing more of them?
 
not one single decision has been taken with the left in mind - Starmer's team abhors them - so I doubt that.
 
Yeah I can only see the Greens and Reform (or anybody who promises to pardon Andrew Tate) benefiting from this

Between this and the Daily Mail baiting, Keir's team really are CLUELESS on his target demographics and appeal

I'd have been so much more welcoming of this last decade. Maybe Brexit wouldn't have been :(
 
It is a good thing regardless of which parties benefit short term really. I imagine teen girls (with support from teen gays) will be more likely to vote than teen andrew tates anyway.

Also it is a manifesto pledge so Starmer would have been hammered for it at conferences to come.
 
Automatic voter registration is a good one, depending on where the info comes from.
 
I do get the point she's making but I also don't really get the point of making the point.

Like, at the end of the day whether you've been punched in the side of the head by a random on the street for being black or for wearing a kippah, you've still been punched in the head.

I appreciate here she's been asked about it, whereas last time it came up she did randomly volunteer the thought to The Guardian's letters to the editor page or whatever, but it seems like a pointless argument to be making.
 
I used to live in Stoke Newington, my road was Stoke Newington, the next was Stamford Hill. I don’t know why she says this when she’s got thousands of constituents who are Orthodox Jews and couldn’t ever be visually judged as anything different whatever their skin colour!

I just don’t get it, it’s not a one up game of whose racism is worse.

My next door MP these days got chucked out of Labour yesterday too :BList:

I can only assume she wants to join up with Corbyn again. Her intended point always seemed valid, though the way she expressed it was stupid the first time around, and to not even make an attempt to clarify it and just stand by the original point as written seems a deliberate way to lose the whip.

I'm not immune to teasing the Lib Dems, but they're the only party who have consistently held off Reform in council elections, and if the next election isn't a total walkover for Farage, it'll most likely be them who end up propping up the government.

The Trump/Starmer Q&A lasted for about 70 minutes. It was 95% Donald Trump. Keir Starmer was mostly there as a stage prop.

Wind needs massive subsidy, and you are paying in Scotland and in UK massive subsidies to have these ugly monsters all over the place.

So I restricted windmills in the United States. They also kill all your birds …

So it’s a very expensive energy. It’s a very ugly energy, and we won’t allow it in the United States.

Edit: by HE I mean Trump, not Starmer, who has a much more reasonable stance on WINDMILLS.
 
A 20 year grievance all because wind turbines were built within view of his shitty golf course in Aberdeenshire.
 


Putting aside the wisdom of these tactics for a moment, BASH BACK is an amazing name for an organisation and what a deserving first target :disco:
 
It does feel QUITE RIGHT that evil Wes' HQ resembles a cheap and dodgy cash converter shop
