What the fuck is a "cutting the half time orange"?

Well, she's been helping herself to Satan's dick for a while now. Wonder if he ever rubs an oxo cube on it?

My union has 'proudly' nominated Bridget Phillipson for deputy leader. Need I be concerned?

This feels like a shitstorm waiting to happen. The police say it's not safe for Tel Aviv supporters to attend a football match. The Prime Minister and half the frontbench have intervened to say they should be able to.

For context, when they played in Amsterdam there were riots with Islamophobic and antisemitic violence. The match is in Birmingham which obviously has a very large Muslim population.

If the government don't get their way, it means the Prime Minister picked a fight with a local police force and lost. If it goes ahead it's more cost to the taxpayer, more strain on the police, and if there IS violence, it'll be easy to point at it being the result of government interference.

And for what...?

Didn't the Tel Aviv team have an absolutely terrible reputation even before October 7th?

Also I've been enjoying the sentence "The police have independence for operational matters BUT" that the government keep trotting out. If they're independent, STOP BEFORE THE BUT

He really wants Labour to poll in the single digits.

Ironically he’s doing it because he thinks it’s a populist stance that has some kind of “we the people” moral victory when in reality it’s the worst kind of double edged sword that most politicians would run a mile from.

He really is absolutely tone deaf.

Imagine the regular support of our "local" team after being drubbed 4-0 by Parkhead's finest and then multiply it by 10. They're AWFUL and always were.

he's terrified of Labour being labelled anti-semitic. as if that's what's happening here. and Ed Miliband is saying "Jews should not be banned from football matches", as if THAT'S what's happening here. Labour has far bigger problems right now than an internal antisemitism debacle that's long dead and buried!

honestly just stick a fork in Starmer. nobody around him can read the room.

He’s a disgusting man prioritising the PR of a genocidal state over the people who elected him. He needs to be locked up for the rest of his life!

It is quite astonishing how frequently he totally fails to read the room.

This is a matter for the courts/the police/the judiciary has been his default noncommittal answer to virtually everything, and the one time it would actually be appropriate he decides to weigh in with condemnations?

Tell anyone, just five years ago that Farage was on track to be PM, Lib Dems and Greens were projected to have over 100 seats and Tories would be in fifth place.

Somewhere in a parallel universe, Farage died in that helicopter crash.

(and Tommy Robinson is about to become PM)

I've signed up to the local Stand Up To Racism group. I have every intent of going to the next meeting. The threat of Reform rising to power is terrifying.

We're still Labour. I think it would take something special to get rid of our MP- local boy turned good, does very well locally, massive student population and fairly well off but left-leaning principled residents.

I feel mildly reassured that Reform appear to have peaked. FPTP really is the enemy here.

Lab-Green-Lib have 50% of the vote, Tory-Reform 43% and yet we end up with a nightmare fascist regime.

Lancashire being almost entirely Reform shows me that it’s not just about “seeing too many brown people in the streets” (West Lancs is so fucking white). It’s about what people are reading and believing in the media.

A migrant who was sent back to France under the new "One in, one out" policy has returned to the UK on a small boat.

Look at Bristol ALL GREEN :disco:

Although I'm worried the Green led council isn't making itself overly popular and may divert votes come a general election.

I become GREEN if that map comes true, and I would celebrate by selling the evil North and the East of England to Trump, and locking Sir Keir in the Tower of London for letting this all happen
