They've deployed Big Ange in Leeds today in a desperate effort to save the Deputy Leader of Leeds City Council, who is unfortunate enough to be in one of the most left-leaning wards in the city.

Shockingly, their double whammy of David Lammy and Lucy Powell going door to door last week didn't really move the needle as much as they might have hoped.

They’re playing the American handbook page by page. There was a time when Labour voters would cut off their arm before voting for a right wing party. Now half of them vote reform. And left is a bad word.
