One of my best friends is from Norfolk and she said she thinks she’s the only person from her village who ever left. The women don’t work and the men treat their estate like it’s still farmland - the men take on the work of up keeping the land and they hand over everything to the men. She said she’s getting no inheritance from it because she’s a woman!

I’m sure this is not indicative of all Norfolk, moreso indicative of pockets of the country that still live in in 1935

Also she's still on her bullshit obsessing over fracking the UK when wind power is far cheaper, cleaner, and has far more potential here than a fossil fuel which has taken off in the US because it has vast swathes of land in the wastes of Texss it can harvest it from (and which is being made obsolete there with every passing day by wind power anyway!)
