I just don’t think the average Reform voter has the appetite for violence MAGA has.

The average Reform voter would call the police if someone set off a firework in their neighbourhood. Can you imagine if violence broke out!

Not to defend Starmer's bootlicking, but given the very precarious nature of the UK economy, I can understand them running scared of the tariff threats.

Trump does seem to have overplayed his hand significantly with the Greenland threats though. I think that's (hopefully) turned the tide a bit.

It's incredibly frustrating when you KNOW the world leaders are fully aware that Trump is an idiotic madman who just parrots whatever the last person who complimented hims says, but have to pretend the emperor is wearing great gowns, beautiful gowns. I suppose at least Starmer didn't sink as low as to call him DADDY. :zombie:

That Davos speech should have been enough to start sanctions. I would have lost all ability to be calm and considered if I'd had to sit through that.

Mark Carney is far from sainthood but his basic encouragement to everyone to call Trump's bluff was well received in the room. The US economy is precarious too and it wouldn't take too much to fell it.

Apparently Canada have done quite well with their pivot from over-reliance on US trade. There is life beyond Trump's America. He was right to call the middle powers to arms and create a new world order. If the rest of the G7 won't join Carney in having a backbone, then he should look elsewhere

Well, we saw the FIT Trump threw over the trade deal with China. If it wasn't a good deal that was mutually beneficial (a concept Trump cannot grasp), he wouldn't be so angry.

Unfortunately the obscene narcissism and kleptocratic exploitation now extends to all our esteemed big tech owners - Bezos funded this pile of shit.

Couldn’t they wait until Friday to publish that article? Cinema is not the same as theatre. Most people book on the day rather than in advance.

And therein lies your answer!

I’d never heard of it til I saw the trailer in the Vue the other day. Agog that it was happening really- the assembled crowd just mocked it.

There's an ad for the Melania thing on the massive fucking video billboard on Hammersmith Broadway :nononono:

Hang on - is this a retirement plan for the country that will be passed through congress, or is this another one of his cash grab business ventures while he’s supposed to be running the country?

Her husband is a sex offender as is her brother so she is trying to swing a pardon out of this

What happened to her? I’m genuinely confused
Nothing happened. She's always been an asshole. The gays just care now cuz she revealed her political affiliation. If anything, supporting Trump is probably the LEAST of her offenses. At least that's her democratic right. Defending predators and her treatment of other women (both old and new) in the industry is how we've always known she's terminally shit. Not by who she votes for.

Watch him rein it in through the summer, make lots of conservative friendly promises and then get right back to the chaos in January!

Well he's not holding back.

The YouTube clip has 4m views in a 24 hours, and the lyric video just dropped - both are trending. #1 in iTunes in a dozen markets including the US, UK, France, Australia and others.
