They're so afraid of any kind of difference. Their worst nightmare is their child being autistic, gay, trans or, the absolute nightmare, in love and reproducing with someone who isn't white. They're absolute sociopaths.
It's also that tired ass ancient fallacy of "natural = good; lab-made = poison". But they're still fine drinking decaf and eating corn.

No, America has abundant and affordable healthy foods/groceries. The population is just too lazy to cook when McDonald's is at every street corner. Asking someone to consider self-control is about the most offensive thing you can tell an American. They're hedonists through and through.

So much affordable unhealthy food is produced to be addictive. I'm less inclined to put it down to hedonism on the parts of individuals than I am on an industry and wider culture than enables that.

It's a two-way street. The population loves overindulging in garbage and the corporations love enabling it. Both will blame the other but they secretly love enabling each other.

Do THE PROLES even have much choice when even things like chicken is chlorinated?

Not to mention that food deserts are very much a thing in America so I don't think you can call it a two-way street at all.
There's truth in both of these but I think we have to remember the role of advertising in convincing people that the garbage food will bring them happiness. It's multi-generational gaslighting through false advertising and corporate greed. What KC says is true but misses the reasons behind people's behaviour and how this has been distorted by decades of conditioning.

Oh the public are BEYOND conditioned. Corporations have gaslit everyone that they're the ONLY option because they've make it damn near impossible for healthy alternatives to gain any traction.

Hi. Massive UK Trump fan here. Best US President ever.

the thought of being a Trump fan and not even American is so embarrassing. He would hate you!
I know a couple of local gay guys who thinks he's great. They're quite thick.

I saw an old guy on a bus once wearing a MAGA hat.

This is all comparative and mostly based on domestic policy tbh (apologies to the countries we destabilized/people we killed etc.)

10 FDR
07 Truman (I don't really know her but was a Democrat)
03 Eisenhower (I don't really know her but was a Republican)
06 JFK (Overrated)
10 LBJ (Iconic and effective but also personally evil maybe)
02 Nixon (Because I have to save the 0s for later)
05 Ford (The last Republican president who wasn't actively evil)
11 Carter (Stellar representative for the state of Georgia, actively a good person)
-1 Reagan (Everything after is his fault)
01 George HW Bush
06 Clinton
00 George W Bush
07 Gore the actual winner
09 Obama (The only time in my life that people actually seemed to like the president)
00 Trump (Unfortunately a 10 as a comedian)
08 Biden (Great domestic policies, bad at getting reelected, pretty much dead)
