He's not quite in the same position. He won't lose any future elections, The Vatican doesn't have to rely on other the US in the same way other countries do, so he can easily talk from a moral position in the way Starmer, Macron et al can't.
 
He probably actually has stronger moral convictions than Starmer and Macron as well...

I'd say under normal circumstances I agree, but Trump has gone way too far for other leaders to not be protected in calling him out. Trump is not particularly popular globally. If they all did it together, it would be powerful. Canada has done so, and some others separately. They're clearly all planning an economic future that is less reliant on the US as well, behind the scenes. But the lack of public comdemnation for his behaviour is disappointing.
 
Who are these people? The Republicans all hated him prior to MAGA. I thought they were just using him to prop up a right wing government until he drops dead. Celebrating him in a long lasting way is all kinds of ick.

honestly, it's wild. they're so good at getting the kids at schools, but Trump is not a big enough target? man is the size of a small boat (not a kayak). get it together shooters!!
