The party turned their base into conspiracy theorists by aligning themselves with Trump and the birther lot for four years. They let the genie out of the bottle and have now completely lost control of a large section of their own voters who will not listen to or accept the truth.

It really is mess of their own making and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Democrats just sit back and watch today.

When I said the Republicans had LOST CONTROL of their own voters, I didn't imagine they'd be storming the Capitol.

The CNN anchors sound genuinely horrified. I mean we’re all watching incredulously, but you know how sacred the political process is for Americans. This is a whole new level for them. They must be absolutely mortified that this is being broadcast around the world.

bear in mind the right wing rhetoric will be that the “dems did it with BLM so you can’t be hypocritical”, because this is the kind of stupid we now have to deal with
