I don't believe he was ever suspected of being anyone else. He just vanished suddenly :( (during my ASFM, it was probably that)

I can register on the portal on Friday, about a 10 day wait for an appointment then.

As it turns out, the portal opened for anyone 40+ so was able to register tonight. @dUb get on it if you haven't been jabbed already.

Nope, the roll out over here is very slow. Somewhere around October or November is likely?

Hoping to get an appointment date in the next couple of weeks at the rate the eligible age on the NHS booking website has been lowering recently. I'm now trying at least once a day to see if it's been changed in the background before they update the text but still not there yet.

They’ve been opening it up too quickly in a way. I keep seeing people on social media saying they can’t get appointments, or can get a first but not a second so couldn’t book either. With AZ not being administered to under-40s, some of the larger vaccination centres aren’t available to them.

Hopefully someone has a double-blind tested answer for this but…

Can you pass the virus on even when fully vacced, assuming you aren’t actually contracting it? Is it only by physically transporting germies, like someone licking your hand and then you wiping it on someone else? I thought the point of the vaccine is to stop your body being a place for it to multiply

I phoned the Scottish covid hotline and now have an appointment in a few weeks time 🙏🏻. My letter went to my old address and my appointment was originally for 31st May :( Which would have been the weekend they were lambasting people for not showing up in Glasgow at the Louisa Johnson.

The Scottish system seems to assume you don’t move house and are so permanently unwell you’re at a GP every other week 🙄

Yeah, it's quite silly - though I suppose it makes sense they didn't identify problems with the system until they had already done the older folks, who actually do fit that description for the most part :basil:

Finally got my first vaccination appointment tomorrow, so I just decided to do a lateral flow test tonight since I’ve been out a couple of times since last weekend.

Shouldn’t have done it just after eating as the gag reflex :ken: just brought up a bit of my dinner. Still wasn’t enough to void the result anyway.

You're not supposed to do them straight after eating anyway... 30 mins after I believe. (Not sure if that's actually why...?)
