I mean Zelensky has just accepted what Ukraine was doing anyway before that cunt realised he’s a small small fish and needed to do a land grab?

I believe they targeted his helicopter, but the helicopter fired back. In reality it's as close as it gets.

Perhaps not a verified story, hence the lack of headlines or it was just a lucky break that ultimately failed.

This is pretty crazy stuff reading about it in The Guardian and how easy it was for them to do get them into Russia! Looks pretty mental seeing the containers loaded with drones! When this war ends Ukraine are going to come out of it very very adept. They’ve already modified cruise missiles to have even longer ranges and the drones with 20km of fibre optic cables attached to them so they can’t be interfered with are crazy.

The drones were hidden in the roofs of wooden huts that were being transported by truck. So apart from the truck drivers it was all done remotely I read. Like something from an action film.
 
When are Russia going to threaten nuclear action (for the 3000th time)?
 
I can’t believe someone successfully managed a military Trojan Horse in 2025.

Zelensky says operation HQ was 'right next to the FSB'​


Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has shared more details on the strike, saying 117 drones were used.

He says each drone had its own pilot.

"The most interesting thing - and we can already say this publicly - is that the 'office' of our operation on Russian territory was located right next to the FSB of Russia in one of their regions," an English translation of his post on Telegram reads. The FSB is Russia's security service.

He claims 34% of the cruise missile carriers at the targeted airfields were hit.

This whole "Spiderweb" operation is so fucking crafty. The camouflaged drones, the warehouse hiding in plain sight, the sneak back to Ukraine. And all for a DIME compared to what the Russians lost. The drones the Ukrainians make cost like $500-$1000 each? Meanwhile, some of those AWACS aircraft things the Russians lost were $350+ million brand new MINT CONDISH. That degree of disproportion in damage is insane to me.

The more post-industrial we become, the more asymmetrical warfare becomes. For now, the internet is evening out the field. But, with the way national security is becoming increasingly dependent on it (AI, space industry), its importance in warfare may even start to outweigh that of traditional military platforms.

Still, it's all a testimony to the Ukrainians' ingenuity and the innovation that's borne from necessity.
 
Definitely good his eyes have finally opened. Not sure how it’s a ”surprise” to anyone, though, how Putin is acting. Apparently an announcement later today together with Rutte. Potentially also sanctions on Russia.
 
Why does it sound like he's actually campaigning to be the replacement Russian commander?
