This just popped into my head
Their b-sides were ridiculously good, which was part of their problem. Imagine chucking "Round Are Way" or "The Masterplan" away as b-sides. And on the same single! Someone should have taken Noel aside and said "look, Round Are Way is a single, sit on it, we'll put it out in the summer and it'll be number one for a month". But no-one had that calm head, everyone was figuratively and literally high on success. No-one even had the guts to suggest that the word he was looking for was "Our".
Talk Tonight, Listen Up, D'You Wanna Be A Spaceman, Live By The Sea, Half A World Away, Acquiesce...better than 90% of the stuff on the actual albums.
You would be more than welcome! No one bothers to pop into a Eurovision thread to mention they arent going.
It is a banger. The whole EP is excellent, actually. They peaked between DM and WTSMG, in my not-at-all humble opinion.I've decided Whatever is my fave overall
I get why people think all Oasis fans are just coked up wife beaters, but they aren't.A friend convinced me to sign up for the presale against my better judgment smh. I have never seen Blur or Suede live (both of whom I much much prefer) and the latter have even been touring Asia recently pfffft!!!
Part of me thinks that this will be horrifying because surely Oasis and their fans are diametrically opposed to everything that I stand for and seek to exemplify!
But then @big ron is an Oasis fan and he seems like a thoroughly sound chap from the little that I've seen whilst round these parts!
I am confused and think I will book a ticket to Guatemala instead, but I remain intrigued by these latest developments. The masochist in me has never been able to resist inevitable DISASTER.
Pre sale. Got some. The tickets went on sale today? How quickly did they sell out?
That's exactly it - it's just ticketmaster and the act doing the gouging themselves, rather than a tout.Dynamic Pricing is evil. They knew exactly what the demand was going to be like before the tickets went on sale which means that it was baked in before Saturday morning. It's just gouging - getting people to wait and wait and wait and then hitting them which a much higher price, like "well, you've waited all this time, there's no going back now, eh? Cough up, prole". Wankers.
How many people DON'T try on at least one other device? Or have a number of friends all online at the same time trying? Not to mention, I saw yesterday people admitting to using 4-5 devices to enter a queue. If tens of thousands of people did that too then that just instantly creates a false level of demand.
I personally don’t do it, and I get better success that way. But to be honest, the last time I got tickets for something “in demand” was donkeys years ago. Hello Dolly pre-sale was the biggest stress of recent years, and that didn’t even sell outHow many people DON'T try on at least one other device? Or have a number of friends all online at the same time trying?

Anyone willing to pay that has probably already spent more than that on her album already.Did Taylor Swift do it? A news report yesterday asking people on the street how much they would/had paid for concerts had a woman say she paid £500 a ticket to see Swift![]()
