Let’s face it, Black Widow was also incredibly underrated. They’ve got some great characters in that group.
 
I think, from what I’ve read so far, people are finding this movie fun because it doesn’t seem to hinge on BIG MARVEL PROPERTY like the big names do (Avengers, Thor, Iton Man, etc)

What does that mean? Literally every starring character has appeared in a previous movie, series, or both! And I'm positive the plot leads to major build-up for Fantastic Four and Doomsday.

None of these characters are big names in the books and nobody really cares about them in the cimematic universe except maybe Bucky. It’s a group that gives low expectations unlike something like a new Thor or Avengers movie would.
 
That said, I’m excited to see it now with all the great word of mouth. I love a ragtag gang of C-Iisters personally.

A big step up from Captain America: It's Just The Falcon Pretending, Guys - but it still felt like more of the same (but less good) from Marvel. Avengers and Guardians did the group stuff better, and tbh I think even Eternals had more moments.

I liked everyone in it, especially Julia Louis-Dreyfus obvs. I'm up for her settling in as a Tony Stark type figure, but a cunty one where they all hate her.

May we have a poll please benevolent @Moderator?

solid 8. Very much back to the Marvel superhero group playbook, but the antihero angle makes it different enough and not at all subtle messaging about mental health makes it very now.

The end credit scene showing the WHO?! reaction to them being sold as The New Avengers I thought was quite clever as the renaming of the movie has done the same thing in the real world. Sitting around for two end credit scenes is boring though.
 
The trailer looked a bit rubbish. I only went because I generally trust in Florence Pugh and Julia Louis Dreyfus who are always brilliant.

Excellent! Especially the end credits.

I didn’t quite understand where Wyatt Russell came from though. Did I miss a film?

He was in the Falcon and Winter Soldier tv series. He was made the new Captain America when Sam Wilson initially didn’t want the job, but was fired after murdering a bad guy on camera.
 
Oh FFS, I don’t want to watch any of the TV shows any more. It’s far too much effort.

I did skip The Marvels, because it looked rubbish, and after the painful experience of sitting through Eternals, I just wasn’t up for any new characters.
 
I've only skipped Secret Invasion so far, and I'm pleased that no recent projects are attached to it in any way, it's like they finally realised not everyone watches any old shit they put out.
Iron Heart is coming out in a month, and that one's related to Black Panther 2 and Iron Man (obvs).

As for The Marvels, it was attached to WandaVision and Ms. Marvel, which is attached to the new Doomsday movie coming out next year because of Kelsey Grammer's Beast.
 
I tried to watch Secret Invasion and only lasted 2 episodes. The crossover in comics is pretty excellent but the show was ass.
 
I never thought a movie like this could make me cry but I thought it was absolutely incredible. I have no notes for improvement - what a joyful ride from start to finish!
