Thursday burns their house down (1 Viewer)

Oh, I have one of those letters. Quite how I'm supposed to give it to the rozzers if I can't get within 6 feet of them, I'm not sure...fold it into a paper aeroplane?

To the shops! I don't manage to get out a lot otherwise though, it's really tough as I'm on my own with both kids so I usually have to wait till the weekend when Mr Star is free to help.
How are you finding keeping the kids entertained?

I'm thinking of rigging up a crucifix in the middle of the road and nailing myself to it tonight
Don’t do it yourself! There are plenty of furloughed serfs out there who could do that for you. I might lend you some of the ones who carry me to and from the kerb on my sedan chair of a Thursday.

I've decided to re-do the caulk in the shower and I'm close to burning my house down too now

Ugh I'm tired and fed up today. I suppose under normal circumstances I don't realise QUITE how much time Mr S has in which TO DO EXACTLY WHATEVER HE LIKES. Nice work if you can GET IT :sour:

I went past the big Tesco at Earl's Court on my walk today and the massive snakey queue outside has made me even more grateful for my Ocado slot.

Back from Sainsbury's, wasn't too bad at all. It's just the idiots around you that are wearing full on PPE to shop and still insist on invading your space.

I'm sitting in the garden working now listening to BETTY BOO so it's not all GRIM :D :disco:

Apparently it's UNIFORM 4 UNIFORM clapping tonight. So you have to wear a uniform before clapping

The G*rlguid*ng Advocates want all G*rlguid*ng members to join in together celebrating the great work of the NHS and key workers. They’re asking everyone to wear their uniform when we clap this Thursday at 8pm to show how proud G*rlguid*ng is of the work being done!

Loves, I think i've had my worst week yet in terms of motivation

I literally couldn't even get out of bed this morning

The roofing bloke has trampled all over my tortoise garden. :(

That'll be another five years before I get dandelions growing in it again.

I read that too quickly and thought you said he’d stood on your tortoise :D:shock:

Pebbles is still in his vivarium thankfully. It's still a bit chilly for him to be outside but I'd got eight dandelion plants in there with flowers on and now they've been trampled by workboots and scaffolding. My neighbours all have dandelions galore growing in their lawns and cracks on the driveways but it took me five years of actually planting seeds to get dandelions to grow in the patch reserved for the tortoise.

I had to dodge falling bricks to get out and clap. Next-door neighbour, his son and a neighbour from across the road are currently dismantling my chimney and none of them are wearing safety equipment! So glad I sealed up the fireplace with cardboard and gaffer tape this morning because it sounds like half the chimney is falling down behind it.

Jesus CHRIST. I know days and weeks have been blending in to one but it’s not Christmas already, is it??

Ive realised that occasionally going out and getting off my tits is actually good for my mental health. I need to get WANKERED

I am watching Big Night In on BBC1 and Paddy McGuinness’s blonde hair rather suits him. :horny:

It's Christmas 2035. We've been in lockdown for years :( Lolly is ded, Buttertart is gay, Sheena's still going on about the cancer he beat in 2020 and Penelope is still trying to make the Eurovision 1946 rewatch happen. Oh and you're a grandmother.
