Thursday can’t compete with post whoring.

I had a great nights sleep only to wake up to the crushing anxiety that I have to tackle other people's incompetence with violence. sigh.

I've not really bothered to get back into the swing of work yet and I'm in a massive state of "can't be arsed", but my BDM has managed to set up a meeting with LITERALLY MY NUMBER ONE TARGET CLIENT today and so I need to pull myself together and fast.

These two things are not sitting with me QUITE RIGHT today.

It’s doctors rotation this week so I have a 46 hour work week :boring:

This was supposed to be my NOT BUSY work week before my summer vacation. Why is everyone still working and still giving ME work?

SO VERY ANGRY.

Day off because I'm working on Saturday and I am in the mood to do absolutely nothing after the last few days.

Just throw them all on the floor and tell someone they have to play 52 doctor pickup.

After a few weeks fearing my mystery illness had returned with a vengeance, my resting heart rate has finally dropped back below 80 and I actually have the energy to go to the shops again!

It is raining, so I shan't, but it is NICE TO HAVE THE OPTION AGAIN

Do the overseas doctors still have to do the practical PLAB test to get registration? Had Scruffy McGuffy from Grange Hill being a patient at one I helped administer, back in another lifetime.

Hi Moopy.

I've been offered a 2 day a week, 20 hour job, back at the vets I used to work for. I can't decide if I want to go for it or not.

10 hour days? No way could I manage that.

I'm reducing to 22.5 hours next week. And changing to a different job.

Plus travel! It's what I used to do tho, 3 x 10 hour days and then all my work is done in 3 days.

Id have to work in the shop 2 days a week until we close.

Id love to just do 22.5 hours :(

I kind of understand it. I had a friend who worked 22.5 hours over 4 days. It made sense at first as it fit around childcare, but then she carried on doing it when her child was older, just because she liked it. I never understood why she didn't do it in 3 to get more days off.

But I really don't think I could manage longer than an 8 hour work day any more.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I can :D I've been used to 6.5 hour days with the shop. But I would enjoy sitting down a bit rather than being on my feet all day.

My place is going from 7 to 10 hours and, on being pushed back on about it have said - we think people will prefer it - and its not negotiable. One of the reasons I won’t be sad to go once i’m through process.

Oh I feel like people should have a choice. Going from 7 to 10 hours without a choice is harsh.

I'm sure some people will prefer it. But it absolutely isn't for everyone. And will fuck with many work/life balances.

If anyone is off to Sainsbury's, I can recommend this cake

Knickerwettingly good.

CAN PEOPLE STOP TALKING ABOUT CAKE I AM TRYING TO NOT BE OBESE

And now I'm fantasising about Black Forest Gateau

I will never metamorphose into an obese liger and it hurts.
