Thursday defeats the orange monster

We have three main security guards: one is a proper nose and mouth masker, one is a nosedipper, another is a chinstrapper. Unsurprisingly, this is also their batting order of niceness with the proper wearer being a gem and chinstrapper being a moody, monosyllabic arsewheel.

He said the No.29 and No.144 were the worst :o

I see that the 144 serves the not always especially lovely Edmonton Green and the NORTH MID, so I’m not entirely surprised

Also you get all sorts of ruffians on the 29

I think nose dipping makes their nose look really big. I'd say 50% of those i see at work are nose dippers

I took the bus today for the first time since March. Everyone was masked and complying with the social distancing requirements.

Scarred as I am by that frightful bus journey to Wood Green a few weeks ago, I’ve mainly taken to getting the tube which I’m sure is riddled but at least there aren’t people plonking themselves right in front of you

Mr Kate saw two people try to attack the bus driver the other week because he kept playing the mask announcement. The woman claimed she was exempt because of lung cancer, but had a fag hanging out of her mouth.

I have to say if someone tells me they're exempt, I'll never question them or ask for proof, I take their word for it. But I will always ask if they have a mask they can wear. Some people have those exempt badges they wear which makes it much easier, but I totally understand not everyone wants to wear one, I never wore one of those 'baby on board' badges!

The tube gives you more opportunity to GLARE ANGRILY at anyone not complying

TRUE. You can wheel out a FURIOUS STARE to people trotting up the aisle on the bus but once they’re sat down there’s not much more you can do. Luckily I always carry a claw hammer, so if someone needs a word :disco:

I turned my body 90 degrees and just full on stared at this chin-strapper until I could see her working out what was happening with her side-eye and she quietly put her mask on properly

I’m gonna be dead within a week*

I had one today, a 71 year old lady with COPD who was wearing a mask, but her 30 odd year old daughter told me she was exempt. I wanted to ask if it was the excessive botox on her lips and cheeks that was causing her breathing difficulties
