I haven't done a big shop for well over a month because I was doing an experiment, I was waiting to see how long it would take Mr F to ask "shall I do an online shop while you're at work?". I was convinced he'd have caved by a fortnight ago, but he didn't, and since then I've been seething inside about how lazy he is. Last night I was again confronted by bare shelves in the fridge and my milk was three days past semi-curdled so I decided to take the afternoon off today and go shopping. Arrived home an hour ago with the shopping, packed it all away then sat down with my brew in the living room and told him about my experiment. I expected excuses and grumbling but he laughed and told me he'd been on the phone with spawn three weeks ago and told her "your mum's really worried about money at the moment and she's not done any proper shopping for weeks so I've been eating stuff out of the freezer. I think we might have run out of money and she doesn't get paid for another week so I don't want to ask her if she wants me to do an order while she's at work.".
For clarification, I pick bits up from Morrisons on the way to work most days (dinners and teas), we haven't been starving.
