I'm off to visit my little old lady today 🥰

Mandy has temporarily moved out of our flat so I'm home alone for another 4 days, which I'm still quite enjoying. I think if I became single I'd just spend all my free time reading in my pyjamas!

No not at all, I should have clarified that actually :D

She's moved into my mum's for a few days to look after her cat. She's only down the road from me.

I mean she could have just popped in each day to feed him, but she's missing having a pet so wanted to sleep with him :square:

When Heathcliff died I did say to her I now have nothing in my life that loves me as much as he did :( so she said she'd give me more love, it didn't last long :D

I think we both need a proper pet.
 
For my multiple sins, I am, today, wading through a pile of work done by other people, all of whom totally fucked it up. This is what happens when you're good at what you do, you end up with "remediation" tasks.

Meanwhile, I am internally screaming.

I get this a lot, why aren't we allowed to rant and scream at the useless people? It's not our fault they're inept!

Exactly! There's one person in particular who actively NEEDS a bollocking. Would do them the WORLD of good but no, it's all softly softly, don't upset the idiot...
 
It's things like that that put me off ever working for someone else again. I had it at all my previous jobs where I worked hard so got given more and more responsibility, while the slackers did the bare minimum.

Any future jobs I have, I'm doing the bare minimum.
 
Someone massively fucked up at work a few weeks ago and left me in the shit because I had to clean up whilst they were on holiday.

Because I’m a GRACIOUS human, I talked the person through STEP BY STEP how to avoid this situation happening again.

They’ve ignored all my advice and I’m watching them in real-time completely FUCK THINGS UP AGAIN and it’s baffling to me!

Back to work tomorrow after the holiday.

It's times like this I'm grateful, to basically be an agency worker. One day off after a holiday JUST ISN'T ENOUGH. Three might be too much though.
