Anyone had any success with approaching a company for some freebies/ throwing a few extra things into an order?

One of my team has just been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer so we’re getting a lot of ‘pamper’ things in for her. We’re buying stuff from the company anyway, but thinking of contacting customer support to ask if they’d consider adding to it.

She is genuinely a loyal brand customer but anything else you can think of to add in for more chances of success.

We've had people contacting us/coming into the shop for similar reasons. They will purchase a box and then ask if we want to donate anything. We always do. I think it's definitely worth asking.

I'm OK. I was just sleeping 12 hours a day then mostly resting for the last few weeks. Last night I slept for 6 hours and then worked. Unfortunately there was something in the air that provided a heady mix of high volume, rudeness, itchy feet and tears from the kids. My throat is sore from raising my voice.

Still it was nice to see and talk to adults again.
