Morning. I'm sat in the barbers waiting for a trim, regretting eating a spicy pizza last night

In better news I've had a full payday, my first in a very long time I have multiple plans to spend it all that will probably end up in wine and ubers.

Zero motivation today but thankfully my todo list isnt that gritty so might just tick a few things off and frolic.

I've been eyeing up Easyhotel in Manchester because it has insanely good aircon and it's v v cheap tonight - but honestly, it seems a toughy to justify so I imagine I'll just have another weird half passed out fever dream like the entirely mental one I had this morning where I was in a corporate building that had like a shopping floor on it and I couldn't find the way out and every store was more specific and glossy and expensive than the last and I had to pretty much shake myself awake to get out of it. Horrible.

This week is a pure 0/10 week.

Aside from the frankly awful weather, i've had food poisoning and i've buggared up my toe. So plenty of middle-of-the-night, boiling hot, hobbling, trips to the shitter.

That sounds fully 0/10

Make that into a YouTube short and you'll probably get picked up by Amazon to turn it into a feature.

Home now. I regret leaving the house. Sat in front of a fan in limited clothing dying a little.

Were using the med method of shutting windows and light out in the rooms facing the sun and shutting the doors to those rooms.

Because we have very draft proof fire doors, my living room with its full wall of glass and thick blackout blinds feels like an actual sauna. The dry heat in there is insane.

although it's SIZZLING I've had a coffee outside and done some shopping and now I'm in for the day. I can't wait for a nice, reasonable, seasonal 34° at the weekend so I can actually go to the park and RELAX.

it's also my last weekend in Paris (cry) so I can't spend it LOCKED UP like a PRISONER

Actually couldn’t wait to get to work because of the air con. Last night was insufferable!

I'm going outside now. Out there. In short shorts and a vest top, in Hot Daddy Summer mode. Wish me luck.

Also - does anyone have any experience of using car park renting sites like justpark etc?

My hotel in Bristol next month doesn’t have parking and this seems the cheaper option 🫠

I'm going to take a peak sun stroll to the not too far away Asian butchers because I want/need some proper harissa, not the wank you get in supermarkets thats just pureed red peppers. It'll feel like I'm actually in North Africa as well.

Not sure if you have them DOWN SOUTH but a company called Ring Go have a lot round here which aren’t much of a faff and fairly cheap.

Just stuck a thermometer in there for 5 mins. 37.9 😤

Where next?
CHESHIRE :) hopefully just until I get a job in London. I don't want to leave Paris at all but the freelance income is so unstable that reluctantly I'll have to rejoin the world of full time work

I used mobypark (not sure if it's in the UK) last summer in Paris and it was pretty straightforward

It’s in Finzels Reach.

I’ve heard of RingGo as well have it here too, but haven’t used it, I’ll look into it, thank you
Nice area to be in, although yes, i doubt it will be the easiest area to park in.

I do know a lot of colleagues use it for their parking though, as they always claim it's handy when submitting their expenses.

Be aware that you're in the Clean Air Zone which is £9 daily, which may be a consideration in terms of where you decide to park.

The hotel is only a short walk from Temple Meads, if the train is a viable option.

Nice Cheshire or do you do what ms ron does and say you’re from Cheshire but omitting that she means a council estate forming part of an ex industrial town in Cheshire

Isn't RingGo just for public parking payments rather than rental of private places, which is what I presume was being got at?

I have used JustPark and the like before. Never had an issue- but always checked reviews first.

Anyway, GOOD MORNING. So humid here- massive thunderstorm last night (which was fun) but just hasn't cleared a thing. Off to the gym for an hour to clear my head before ANOTHER TWELVE HOUR DAY OF FOOTBALL :Diane:

90 minute massage ✅
Roots done ✅
Nails done ✅
A TOUCH of Botox ✅
Bikini on and Mimosa poured ✅

I do love a stunning Thursday afternoon. :disco:

I'm making more pasties. Why I would do that on such a hot day is I guess the Cornish dna kicking in.
