It's "edgy" humour at its finest because the joke is entirely in our minds; it relies not only on us being familiar with Savile's career but also being aware enough of the unusual nature of the "fix-it" to twig that it's invented. Then, with the context of what we now know about him, the joke happens in our minds. I cannot stand comedians who just make horrible statements to get a reaction; Frankie Boyle looked upon what he had spawned with despair, pivoted towards things he actually cared about and is now one of the greatest comic writers of our times.

ah, it's right next door to my favourite bookstore! it stocks more Dutch books though with only a small English collection is why I usually go to the American Book Centre, which is massive.
