Thursday is up for nomination

I didn't ask them to get rid of it!

Just to either reangle it or put those shield things on that stops light spilling where it isn't wanted

Fucking builders haven't taken the scaffolding down yet! It was supposed to come down on Tuesday afternoon, then the told the engineer it would be Wednesday morning and it's still up! They weren't even supposed to be using scaffolding in the first place. UGH.

I'm FINALLY feeling a bit more human after last weekend. Just in time for this one :disco:

I'm having a book and clothes clear out. I read somewhere that charity shops aren't taking clothes. If I turn up and they refuse them, I'm putting them next to the door of Wetherspoons which is next door.

Oh AND "how fast does time go". Can we STOP with these please, ask me what noise a cow makes or something.

Yeah, don't do that, cause then they just end up in landfill as they get wet/ soiled/ gone through and left as litter.

Just take them to a charity bin.

The charity shop took them, although the young guy behind the counter seemed like he hated his life.

Hopefully you have all stocked up for the trick or treaters this evening. I think my great niece and nephew are popping over this evening.

I've come to Wetherspoons for a coffee with a friend because, I'm poor and I like their coffee, judge away, anyway an old man has walked in with his Costa coffee, taken a load of Wspoons coffee and sat down at a table.

I wonder if I can do this with shop bought wine 🤔

We luckily never get them as we're in a top floor flat.

We never have kids knock on our door either, thanks to living in a flat. I hae Hallowe'en so this is marvellous news.

I miss these questions - now the answer is on youtube.
He's FULL of them today. It's sweet and shows the neurons are obviously firing off in his brain but since my post this morning we've had "what would happen if you picked up a squirrel" and "do race cars have to follow the rules" I'm not used to so much on-the-feet THINKING

I hate it too, but it's unavoidable with kids, so it's more fun to just LEAN INTO IT. I'm supervising two of them pumpkin carving today and I'm genuinely slightly terrified of letting two six year olds loose with TOOLS but :RuGlasses:

I don’t THINK I will get trick or treaters here either as I don’t have any neighbours but it is my first Halloween here and it is a MASSIVE thing in this neck of the woods. The little ones are going round all the family so will see them at some point but other than that it will be VERY QUIET.

We usually only get perhaps two or three knocks, fairly early on. Usually young children with parents, before it gets too dark. Older children don't seem to bother too much.

Nope! It's a kid free, and meant to be dog free building, but we do have a puppy downstairs. Best building ever.
It’s probably for the best that you don’t get any trick or treaters. They might turn nasty when you hand them a box of expired fudge and then demand £19.50.

But on the flip slide she could sign them up for children labour.

I don't really like Halloween either, at least not the Americanised celebration of capitalism and the inevitable landfill full of cheap shit from Asdas the day after.

Ron Jr is old enough to go out begging on his own. I secretly hope he's planning on buying eggs and flour.

Yeah, I never get anyone at the door - I'm in a flat and the buzzer goes on mute.

I need to know your squirrel answer

"It PROBABLY won't like it and will PROBABLY give you a little nip", cue the follow up question of "WHAT IS A LITTLE NIP" 🤯
At least he's interested in things, he could be throwing tantrums because he only wants to play the Xbox instead.

I love when they ask loads of questions about everything.
