“On this particular Thursday, something was moving quietly through the ionosphere many miles above the surface of the planet; several somethings in fact, several dozen huge yellow chunky slablike somethings, huge as office buildings, silent as birds. They soared with ease, basking in electromagnetic rays from the star Sol, biding their time, grouping, preparing."

Today my team find out who is for the chop, I’m already going but that’s my choice, this won’t be that. They are already spiralling and messaging. I’ve been completely frozen out of all the decision making - not that I especially wanted blood on my hands, so their guess is as good as mine. I’ve made some eggs, because a proper breakfast seems like a good idea. I may investigate the Sugababes on the commute and see if they can lift the spirits..

Ooh the fabled 'HR PROCESS' in action! At least it will be over then. The HANGING AROUND is stressing me out, and I don't even care as I was thinking of retiring soon ANYWAY

Oh they love stringing it out and then just cutting the cord.

Top of the morning from you from Ireland. Have had a lovely couple of days in the Emerald Isle, seeing my beloved Saint Etienne (just three gigs to go to :( ), meeting the quite wonderful @BoysForSeles and generally mincing about. Off for brunch with an athletics friend and then flying to Newcastle for gig #7 tonight.

Also, absolutely exhausted. :D

I've been dogged with migraines the last few weeks. Normally I have just the visuals, give it 40 mins and they're gone. About three or four a year. I've had three in a week.

This one hit on Tuesday and I've barely recovered. Shooting pains down my neck and back, my pussy and my crack.

Why have one health condition, when you can have eight. Why not eh?

I hate neurological stuff.

Glad you enjoyed your visit, both you and your friend were good craic to hang out with.

First day in work today after a few days off, I thought breaks were supposed to leave you refreshed, I just want another month off.

Look into magnesium supplements if you're not already.

Ag, I'd also consider looking into neurodivergent unmasking and headaches/migraines.

Headaches and migraines are already more common in people with ADHD and/or autism. And in the process of unmasking things can get even worse as your nervous system can handle stress and pain differently.

Obviously there may well be other stuff as well, but I thought it may be worth considering.

'What if the people we made redundant don't come to work tomorrow - we have stuff that needs to be done' said the automator I was in a meeting with.

'then they don't come and we cope' said I.

I only noticed the traits she'd left me after her death - they seem to have taken on a life of their own since, I catch myself sometimes, but I don't seem able to actually do much about it. It's inevitable.

I think that makes sense. The GP asked if I'd been under stress lately. I said no. But there's a lot going on behind the scenes that I hadn't considered.
