Flying back from Rome, got an early flight, got to the airport even earlier than I should due to sharing a taxi with someone and just as I got through security and the point of no return, got a flight delay notification which had ended up being around 3 hours.

STILL, we’ve all been shepherded into lines and made to stand up for half an hour, now, so surely it’s going to actually go this time. #SPEEDYBOARDING

I always thought I loved Rome. Actually, it’s smelly, dirty, hot, overly busy and touristy, with shit transport, cunty locals and workflows and practices that just don’t work and no one seems to give a shit about.

I flew out of Helsinki the other day on Finnair.

Amazing airport and fantastic airline.

I love Helsinki airport and also my favourite flight ever was a Saturday afternoon out of there, just before Christmas, a quarter full flight, on which I was asked to move to the back so had a whole row to myself, no one near me and it snowed upon leaving but we had glorious sunshine and a beautiful sunset on the way back. Just perfect.

SO FUCKING BUSY and then despite all the noise, they plonk some cunt in the middle of it all playing a fucking PIANO!

On the plus side, there is a hot cubby chub air steward on this flight who needs to be locked in my cellar, so that’s nice.

Now some amazingly bitchy Italian woman has tried to bring on three hand luggage suitcases (HOW DID SHE EVEN GET THIS FAR!?) and it’s all kicking off. LOVELY!

And my new boyfriend has just said, in her face, “Darling, you’ve had to wait three hours to have a go at me, I hope you’re happy”

It’s basically PAM ANN at this point!

I've always used them for any flights earlier than midday, and let's face it most the cheap ones at about 7am. Makes life so much easier!

Comfortable with a bar and a McDonald's across the way. Sorted.
