Good Morning Moopy. It is a BEAUTIFUL day here, but we are only meant to get as high as 27 this afternoon THANK GOD. I wonder how @lolly is coping. :D
 
Just taken my folks dog for a big walk in the sun, its fucking glorious.
 
My car temperature at 11 o'clock was 30c and it's parked in the shade. At least my dismal little office at the back of the building where the sun don't shine is lovely and cool.
 
Warm in here. It's going to be sunburn central here tomorrow.
 
Just made myself an ice coffee, its quite nice.
 
I do like living by the coast for numerous reasons but it really doesn't ever get THAT hot, which is delightful. We're at 27 today- that'll do nicely!
 
Oh I had a nice cup of COLD BLACK COFFEE when I got in this morning.

I've resorted to shutting and opening windows and curtains based on the sun like I did in Spain. I'd kill for a costal breeze right now. 29 in my office and the sun hasnt quite come round yet. Soon as it does I'm going to the pub for lunch.
 
I am in one of my occasional periods of wanting to live by the sea again. Not in Scotland obviously because that's cold and grim which is not an improvement.
 
A bonus of this weather is I don't feel like eating. Hasn't put me off NICE COLD BOOZE, mind
 
I'm eating LOADS but all I really fancy is outdoorsy, summery stuff. Or as me and OLD ELLEN put it often- y'know...BITS!
 
Is it humid there too? That’s what I can’t stand in Japan. We have started the 3+ months of 30+ degree days and nights, but usually it doesn’t get past 35.

The problem is that the humidity makes the days hateful and the nights clammy.

But at least we have air conditioners
 
Went out on the doorstep at work because I could see a nice breeze blowing, the breeze was hotter than the ambient temperature and I burned my bum on the stone step.

I’ve had about 3 olives all day. Craving a greek salad now though.
 
I’m not dying of heat now, but I had to drink Barium for an X-ray.

Just found out I’d lost a few kgs, but then they gave me some weird powder and water to inflate me with gas, not allowed to burp, then had to drink a generous cup of metal milkshake that would give me constipation.

I’M FEELING VERY ATTACKED
 
I was today years old when I learned that the reason women spray perfume periodically in the office is because they've just farted. Why did no-one tell me this before? It's coming up for 7 years and this was NOT in the handbook.

It PISSED down for about 5 minutes here PRECISELY during my 10 minute cycle to the pub :evil:
 
Picky bits is a regular meal in our house. We're having it tonight.
