Thursday storms the Capitol

I have been living in the same hoodie all of 2021. I changed my trousers just today after feeling a hole in the crotch of the ones I was wearing yesterday. :bruised:

Mandy gave one of our oil filled radiators to a work colleague at Christmas and now our bedroom is freezing :(

Also I applied for a job on monday and now the bastards have retracted it.
 
I'm cold and exhausted. I literally feel like I could go back to bed already and sleep a full cycle
 
From Monday I'm on furlough again for 2 weeks but have a sneaking suspicion I'll be asked to work from home instead...
 
People are still commuting to work right now (who can work from home)?
 
Morning! It is also cold and rainy here. And I had to wake up early for work. If its too boring, maybe I'll attempt a quick coup for something to do
 
Had a trip to the hospital this morning for my routine blood tests. Things not really any different except that the punters have masks on as well as the staff.

Was quite sad at one point; was able to overhear a conversation between a (brilliant) nurse and a young lad who had been diagnosed with all sorts. She was taking him through why he needed a steroid and what adrenal crisis looked like and what he needed to say to GPs, 999 etc. Guy can't have been older than 20. Nurse ran through the whole thing in that way which both explained everything so clearly and in a language he understood without being in any way patronising.

Made me think for a bit.
 
Morning the dogs been ill and mum thinks it’s hilarious to update me on it’s bowel movements, IT’S NOT.

Think I need to head back to London soon.
 
My home office is in a big bay window and its snowing pretty flakes and this is bad for productivity.
 
My car door froze shut overnight, it took me ages to open it earlier :D:(

Mandy's home office is on the sofa next to me and I think I might kill her :argh:
 
My dog slipped as soon as I let her out the door this morning. She got straight back up and toddled along like nothing happened. If that was ME, I would still be lying there until someone called Emergency services.

Pretty sure the CD I just bought of eBay is stolen. Why else would someone sell a shrinkwrapped CD with the security tag pulled off the back? :eyes:
 
I don't know where to ask this. Do we have a thread for DIY, decorating and stuff like that? I swear I saw one once, but maybe it was somewhere else. I did a search but only found about cds storage.

You should start a thread! I'd like to see, i did a lot of the decorating when we bought our house :)
