I got up at 5:30 and the weather was GLORIOUS so I popped over the road for a quick swim and then got in the office for 7.

Went to Waterstones at lunchtime, fancied Extinction Rebellion's book. Wandered about - no sign of it - checked politics, philosophy, social sciences, even geography...no sign of the thing. Curses.

Went to leave. There it was, 2 piles of them right at till.

Do we think, given the anarchist elements of their ER's, that it had been getting PINCHED? They had Greta Thunberg's wee volume of her speeches at the till as well but it's an unusual size.

Can't fault Fitbit's customer service right now. My strap broke last night so I emailed them at ten to nine on the offchance they'd give me a new one under the warranty. They replied at 2am with questions that I answered at 4pm and they've just replied asking for my address so they can send me a new strap.

I really thought they'd tell me to sod off because it's normal wear and tear but if you don't ask, you don't get.
