If you go to your work Christmas party and don't wake up hungover did it even happen?

It would be weirder if you didn't go to your work Christmas party and woke up with someone else's hangover.

I've just discovered my local microplex hosted THIS at the weekend

Beyond gutted I missed it :(

Also, hello @Cloud - as the previous owner of a Rainbow Dash avatar, I am intrigued. Come tell us a bit about yo'self.

Checking my diary I'm not going to sober up until the 3rd of January.

THAT'S the spirit!

I'm in my last couple of hours of MISERY AND DOOM, but I got in at 6:30 so I can shave another hour off my leaving time and will probably POP OFF around lunchtime. I am SO ready for Christmas...

A few people from work went to a party last week but as ever it was "we start at 2pm" and I prefer to save the drinking til later and drink into the early hours instead. Besides there's next to no rapport here so I think it was pretty much "about 2 people went to the pub"

Oh really? Awesome :D /)

I suppose the internet being the internet it has its fair share of MLP fans but I'm used to getting shit for it rather than finding that someone used to avatar the same character. But this looking quite a nice place I thought it safe. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash pretty much joint best pony in my book.

Hrrrm aside from the slight MLP obsession I'm into real ales, beer festivals, occasional bouts of gaming, gadgetry and the EV revolution. Plus a bit of photography on and off. And sleeping.... lots and lots of sleeping....

I look forward to learning more about you people as well :disco:

I'm all about the Dash but Fluttershy is well funny. The sheer weirdness of Pinkie Pie frequently went well beyond the boundaries of a children's programme.

Our @Indie brews his own and our @Kate attends cider fests. But most of us are insomniacs...

A client insisted they needed a package for a 10am meeting today, so I got it sent to my flat on a pre 10am delivery to make sure I didn't miss it. It's actually MILES away, and now I have to wait in for it rather than go to the office, so everything is COMING UP MILLHOUSE.

Pinkie goes beyond the boundaries of spacetime. But yeah it went well beyond "children's programme" at times especially when they did direct fanservice stuff.

Gummy's head in Slice of Life:
"What is life? Is it nothing more than the endless search for a cutie mark? And what is a cutie mark but a constant reminder that we're all only one bugbear attack away from oblivion? And what of the poor gator? Flank forever blank, destined to an existential swim down the river of life to... an unknowable destiny?"

Bronies: "Whoa... deep."

Target Audience: ".....?"

God I miss that show already. I hope Pony Life and gen 5 are at least half as good.

Excellent. Should get into homebrew really, the parents have been into it on and off and are currently more into adding stuff to cheap vodka to make mock whisky etc

I’ve just cracked open a pack of vegetarian JERKY, so it’s all systems go HERE!

Nice. I'm surprised how 'meaty' some of that stuff is.

Also if spicy is your thing and you have an oriental food store somewhere nearby, these (individual packets of beancurd inside) are just.... "I can't believe it's not meat".

OOOH now I LOVE a bit of bean curd.

In OTHER news, when I popped to Sainsbury's earlier, I picked up a pack of festive UNO.

Haven't played since that last holiday with OLD ELLEN where it ended up being left in the room with the Australian with the mullet and wonky teeth, but who had access to large amounts of class A drugs, but THAT'S ANOTHER STORY.

Two days to go... and my project lead has gone already so I'll be doing FUCK ALL :disco:

I've just dismantled my "PEANUTS A DAY" calendar, I've hung next year's wall calendar (but only the cover showing- DON'T WANT BAD LUCK, LOVES) and I'm going to crack open a festive beer from the "secret fridge" in a moment.

Christmas time at work really is the BEST!

TEMPTING to crack open the booze but I think this CUNTING cold is finally ALMOST gone and I want to make sure I am on form by the weekend...

I got all excited earlier thinking this was my last day at work. It took a couple of hours for me to remember that I'm working next Monday :(

I know we've decided Christmas cards are a pointless Victorian throwback, but I do have to thank @Star for hers which is genuinely lovely <3

I've had a good CLEAROUT of my cupboards this week and WHAT A LOAD OF OLD TAT I found in there.

Including, bizarrely, a copy of "The Dollar Album" on cassette that I have NO RECOLLECTION of buying, but was likely bought for ebay purposes at SOME POINT

(I'm also ignoring Alex and Strebor to make my argument work but Y'KNOW...CWEJ!)

Hope it helped melt your frozen heart.

Plus it helps the nursery fundraise, just incase my £75/day wasn't enough...
