TODAY I have mostly been trying to DESIGN a brochure when I'm not a graphic designer and have no idea what I'm doing, so that's been fun.

Nothing says "WORK WITH ME" like something that looks like it was knocked up in MS-PAINT

Exactly what I’m using- it’s great. I’m kinda going free from though, rather than template, which might be my problem...

Yeah the templates are the way as they’ll already have design principles built in, shit like margins and spacing that you dont know if you dont know. Just change to your font and colours and go for it.

Mauve?! Nothing is mauve- it’s blue!

But yes, that is my main corporate colour.

If I’m being really pedantic, the cover page doesnt match your brand colours.

I accepted the job in Atlanta. I feel a little sad to not be moving to New York so soon, but I think it was the right choice.

It’s a job I really want, it pays better than what I was doing before, and I will finally have paid days off and health insurance included
