MORNING FROM SUBURBIA.

I’m feeling a little TRAPPED up here at the minute, but I suppose it’d be the same in London. I miss going out for walks and getting coffee though, I can do that here but the coffee is SHIT and there’s nothing to SEE!

I've been challenged to produce my top 100 albums. A work pal is compiling these into an overall chart. Now, you need a certain number of these before you just end up with loads of equals positions so I'm wondering whether or not to cook the thing by putting loads of obscurities up top...

I got up early and went for an hour long walk before starting work at 8.30am. It really gives a boost to the start of your day ... give it a go!
 
I had a nice sleep before getting up for work at 8.30. Seemed nice. Getting up early is for other people.
 
I've just had a benny at a colleague who couldn't work out that 750 + 150 = 900. :D

Not my finest moment but it did include the phrase "if you out those two amounts together, you can stop wasting my bloody time".
 
I just got CAJOLED by a woman claiming to be homeless to march to the atm and take out a tenner. even though the story she told me was definitely a different one than the one she told me a few months ago. my defenses were down.

do you feel bad if you don't give money in these situations? if you she suspect you're being played for example? she didn't look homeless but of course I can't say for sure. on the other hand clearly she wouldn't be begging strangers for cash if she was fine. does it matter anyway, even if they're about to run and buy fags or alcohol, not go to the shelter (there isn't one in this neighborhood) as claimed? does it count as a good deed?

i keep a box of granola bars/hand warmers in my car to give out if people ask me. I honestly don’t know if it helps or not but i hope it does

Well that marks the end of my furlough. Back to it Monday! (And yeah they're insisting I come into the office because..... I have no idea, "we're a manufacturer, so we have an excuse")

Apparently my request to work from home will be 'considered' though.

Nowt much to report otherwise. Cleaned the bathroom.
