tabu-19354071-frntl.jpg

1. Ta Mig Till Sommaren
2. Tabu
3. Högre
4. Säg Det Om Igen
5. Stormande Hav
6. Adrenalin
7. Faller
8. Glöd
9. Puls
10. Het
11. Bara För En Natt

There are clips (sorry but this SNIPPETS thing demeans us all) at http://www.scandipop.co.uk/?p=10108 and it all sounds VERY PROMISING. A slightly clubby update of their sound, but still very much Timoteij.

Högre and Tabu are my instant faves but it all sounds ace.

Their first album is a properly amazing pop record. I'm glad the quality control seems to have remained high.

I never really got on board with their first album but this sounds brilliant from the clips. Shame Stormande Hav was their MF entry, I think there's much better songs on here that aren't cardboard copies of Kom.

No, don't like that one at all.

It was all a bit naff. I think the dancier elements on the second album are a bit more to my taste.

The CHEEK :D Högre's a cover of Lover's Lullaby by disturbingly ageless crone Therese Neaime!

How on EARTH could you not have heard of (I QUOTE) 'Swedish-Lebanese Pop sensation Therese Neaimé'? I mean come on, she's BASICALLY the female Eric Saade

(Yeah, I had no idea either. I only know her for Lover's Lullaby, which was a big old flop last year. I'm just quite amused that Timoteij's producers are so shamelessly recycling :D)

ASIDE, OMG at most of those :disco: This all sounds FAR better than the first album, which was great enough in its own right! Puls and Bara För En Natt sound flawless...

Tabu and Puls are OFF THE CHAIN! :disco: I'll pop this in Bodil's dubstep accordion.

I realise I'm starting to talk to myself but I'm sorry, I FUCKING LOVE this hot sell-out piece of an album :disco: It's ALL KILLER NO FILLER, and a bit of CLUBBED UP SCHLAGER FOLK is what I've never realised I ALWAYS WANTED from these fab bitches

(I also want another album building on the Ace of Base-gasm that is Bara för en natt please)

This is amazing. Thanks Penny. I've just bought it myself from UK iTunes as it is MARVELLOUS.

I think things would have been different for them in MF this year if they'd entered with Högre.

Puls is fantastic :disco: Definitely the highlight of the album, Högre, Glöd and Faller are up there too and of course Het and Stormande Hav are as well, so yes it is a very good album.

I don't think Högre would've been allowed :( It's a cover of Lovers Lullaby further up, which was released around April last year.

Just imagining it at Melfest though...oh my, the wind machine.

Tabu is the next single. Live performance here.

I presume it got a midweek release like in the olden (swedish) days, considering it has gone 26-3-2 so far.

By comparison the David Lindgren and Molly Sandén albums are PLUMMETING. Timoteij - the REAL victors of MF 2012 (after Loreen) :disco:

I've got the windows wide open, Högre blasting out, and the neighbours giving me ODD LOOKS. A month on from release and this album STILL sounds corking :disco:

Chart run: 24-3-2-2-OUT :D

You've got to laugh. Swedish sales must be abysmal though for that to be possible. I've seen it happen in the singles chart before but not albums.

How ODD.

The album has continued to grow and grow though, even my least favourite tracks (Bara En For Natt, Säg Det Om Igen) sound great now.

I can only assume they were on a promo tour doing big signing events and now they've run out of shopping malls. :D

And this week it's back in at #4! RIDICULOUS :D

That's just WEIRD. Maybe there were stocking problems last week? Otherwise it looks like ALL their sales are coming from signings but they'd need to be doing a TON of them to get that high in the chart. Swedish album sales can't be THAT low...

God this album is still UNUTTERABLY FABULOUS.

EVERY TRACK is a stormer.

Random tracks keep popping up on shuffle for me at the moment. I love how in half the cases the chorus is just LA LA LA LA *song title* :disco:
