Will be giving this a bash later. I do hope more clicks with my highbrow trash taste level. I'll make sure all my slots are filled, but will be happy to share where the care cut off point lies :D I think I'll be surprised though.

I think this is the first time someone's submitted a song i've heard of before.

And it's not one you'd expect. It's getting HIGH POINTS anyway.
 
Also can I just say, I know there are no rules for picking your track, but as much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Panic Room song, it was actually a Top 40 hit in the UK. Is this allowed now or....?

We’ve had Kiss Kiss by Holly Valance before, I don’t think chart placement matters as far as restrictions go. It may suffer though if too many people know it and perhaps use that as a reason not to vote for a song they are already familiar with?
 
Fair enough. I was REALLY TORN whether to give it points. I mean I play to discover new music so ... I dunno I guess everyone can decide for themselves.
 
Well surprise, surprise, I surprised myself. I had to cut 9, which was difficult until I asked myself whether I'd ever listen to them again. Quite pleased with what I whittled my points down to. 10 and above are the headliners, and all else are honorable mentions (except 2 that appealed to my charitable side).
 
Ok I got down to 14, then back up to 15 with one that was chopped early on but I’m back to 14 and sticking to it.

Now just to order them

This is the first time I’ve allocated my lower points before my top placers... it’s all to play for in the Top 7 folks, could be anyone’s*

*by anyone’s I mean any of my top 7 choices, not the 38 others already sent to the bin.
 
I'm nearly there, the shortlist has been whittled down to 15 with a rough order starting to take shape.
 
I started listening this morning and am 12 songs in ( I like to listen in dribs and drabs so I don’t overwhelm myself) and the quality is pretty rank so far. Please tell me things get better. :eyes:

Middle Early round 2 is a bit of a high but I thought round 1 was better overall.
