They did some dates where he wasn't there due to having treatment abroad, but when he was with the band he didn't appear onstage until the encore, even then he was sat in a wheelchair.

Oh no this is absolutely terrible. His poor family. He has two very young children who will never truly get to know him. My heart goes out to his beautiful wife, and his family. Far too young.

I did think the tour was ambitious when they set the dates, but as his condition slightly improved at one point a few months back they must have thought a miracle may happen. Watching his documentary a while back I don’t think he ever asked how long he had left.

Horrible. He did look so weak in the pictures and footage from the tour recently but that still seems so quick D

From the documentary last year his wife seemed to be a really strong woman, thinking of their two children too.
