I'm giving it a 10 even though some parts of it (mainly the last third) is still impenetrable for me.

Hey Jupiter, Caught a Lite Sneeze, Blood Roses and Father Lucifer are all in my top 10 Tori.

Also special mention to the ridiculous Mr Zebra!

I had to give it an 8 because it *is* overlong and some of the tracks at the end are quite forgettable. The highs are unbelievable though.

I absolutely love this album - it's probably the last album of hers where she got the balance just right despite its length.

The peaks are skyscrapers. Putting the Damage On tucks you into a blanket and leaves you paralyzed, could it be any more perfect? Hey Jupiter is just as grand in its trauma. Way Down is the aftercare. Talula and Caught A Lite Sneeze are the Tori Amos virus at it's most contagious. Oh what an album really.

It’s so funny as I’ve listened to this album a million times and love it SO MUCH, but even now I draw a blank at the trio of:

Not The Red Baron
Agent Orange
Doughnut Song

until I’m actually listening to it

She could have quite easily cut those and Springtime Of His Vodoo (which I’ve personally never liked) and would have barely changed the quality of the album.

It may have been mentioned, but the BT Twilight version of Putting The Damage On is just as essential as the Dakota version of Hey Jupiter. I don’t know why Tori seems to want to REFUSE to give it the respect it deserves
