Tuesday DEAD AGAIN [TW: Contains Egg]

Do you work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week?
I work a 4 days on / 4 days off working pattern, which actually works really well, as essentially all my “weekends” are 4 days long. Plus, because of the way the rota works, if I book 4 days of work off, then I have 12 days in a row off. Which is perfect for going away ..... when we can!

Morning. Already started work at 6:30, sat waiting for a PowerPoint presentation to download. Taken 15 minutes so far and I have a 9am meeting in which I’m presenting and I haven’t finished it.

WHOOPS!

I stayed up all night the other night to fix my sleeping pattern but somehow now it's WORSE?! I haven't been able to sleep at all. Someone send me tranquillisers in the mail.

I woke up several times last night, which is something that's not happened for a while. It was a very broken night's sleep.

I was shattered and still couldn't sleep. I also keep finding myself getting boiling hot despite it being minus whatever outside. It's all a sign of anxiety unfortunately. :( But we got this! :emoji_punch:

Now my useless boss just needs to leave me the FUCK alone and I can get through today.

Oh, welcome to my world. I rarely get an unbroken sleep. I'm used to it now.

ugh my mood is so low and having to record all these lessons being really happy whilst also in a soft-focus lighting is really taxing today.

Pleased to have this thread confirm the day for me. Still, back to work tomorrow. Could quite easily go for another week off. Not bored yet, despite everything.

I have given up and put the Simpsons on for my health and wellbeing

I shall also be having an omelette for lunch providing the smoked salmon doesn’t smell OFF.

I did Mr L a fry up with bacon and eggs.

I'm having carrot and lentil soup :(

How many eggs do y'all use for your omelettes? Because I find I need at least three, so if I'm making one for the two of us that's a whole box of eggs gone.

At least I'll get a quick NOSH OFF in his lunch break out of it

Only two!

If I was having it as a main meal I'd have a side, but as a LIGHT LUNCH it's fine.

Spending my whole day booking people in for their second vaccine jab while looking at them with SPITEFUL JEALOUSY.
