Remember when we thought the machines would be shovelling shit and we'd all be making art and music. Well...
 
The thing is if the machines were working, I wouldn’t be making art and music. I’d be consuming art and music and eating out and laying around

My ex husband loved going out shooting. He had friends in many parts of the country where him and his friends would go out shooting and me and the rest of the disgustingly snooty wife’s would be on the grounds of some HOITY TOITY MANOR left to conversate over things I couldn’t give a SHINY SHITE about. Pity I didn’t take the gun, and blow his brains out. Would have saved a lot of heartache in the long run. :)
 
My favourite time was when we were at a shooting range in Adelaide and the man handing us our firearms said “oh your from england, you have a few too many darkies over there dontya”

I'm pretty sure I've seen many in museums as well as armed police. They're not such an alien concept in the UK, just most of us don't own one, are not allowed to own one and don't have any desire to own one.
 
I remember my brother having an air rifle at home in the 80s. Don't remember if anyone could have one back then or if it was a bit dodgy. I had zero interest in it.
 
You can own air rifles and BB guns up to a point. I think there are limits on CO2 powered BB guns, and they have to have an identifying part that shows its not a real firearm, like a bright orange bit on the muzzle.

I still find it absolutely wild that people just walk around open carrying assault rifles in the US.
 
Come to Arkansas. We all carry guns out in the open haha

(I mean I don’t but most people here happily do)

Only when I’ve seen a policeman or soldier with one. They are such silly things.

Oh people do in Georgia too (less so in Atlanta) but I was responding about assault rifles
