We've had the downstairs replaced all last week and it's the bathroom's turn today. They've decided NOW was the time to bring the hot floppy haired apprentice. Why the TEASE on the last day? Fizzing.

Our bathroom is the one room I would still like to have some work done in. I mean it's alright, it's clean and new, but it's just boring and WHITE.

Several years before I moved out of the old house I'd bought tiles, grout and spacers to retile the whole kitchen. I left them in the understairs cupboard when I moved out in case the new people wanted them.

I used to have a problem impulse-buying from DIY shops and car shops.

Sexy new floor™ might have caused the TOILET to leak Dried it up and hoping it was just an existing puddle/one caused by the toilet being moved around a bit, and will see if it re-appears in an hour or so. NOTHING'S EVER EASY
