I set my alarm for 90 mins before work starts today so I could work out.

but then I lay in bed, milked the cow, and had a lazy shower in the dark and did precisely no working out. :(

coffee time!

I dangerously rested my eyes after turning off my alarm and thankfully had a nightmare which frightened me awake.

Morning.

As I was walking to work, a group of people were trying to break into their own office. Everyone who has a key is self-isolating, it seems. You'd think that would have come up at some point in the last 10 months...

It’s my last day of work today before I’m furloughed again, actually quite looking forward to putting on my out of office and being able to ignore CERTAIN CLIENTS completely.

I hear they're delicious in pink and green.

I'm being such a PIG for lunch today!

I had: half a portion of leftover tuna pasta. A whole broccoli and tomato quiche. and a side of sauerkraut. :disco: and now there is a food foetus inside of me.

I've not even had anything to eat yet, changed my aligners last night and they hurt so much the first time I take them out

*starves to death*

I've been running from student finance for almost a decade. your debt lapses after 20 years :disco: and they have no idea where I live :disco:

I did delete my education info from LinkedIn just to stop them tracking me if they're really keen on getting their hands on that 50k+.

It’s getting them to pay uni in the first place that’s the problem :D

I think for most of my 20s I barely covered the interest on my student loan. I've not actually had a statement in years so I have NO IDEA what I owe.

Oh they know where I am :D
I've paid off about 1/3 of it, and I graduated in 2004. But I started in 2000 and it seems the rule is that it'll stay there until I'm 65

good luck bitches

Not sure if it's worthy of the community forum, just feeling a bit FLAT today. I thought it was just not enough water/food but I'm not sure. Blugh

After trying to get through to my GP surgery for THREE DAYS, I have finally got through. I'm 7th in the queue and am not giving up!

Yesterday was quite the day. I have an old farmer and his wife who live around 5 minutes from me who I try to help as much as I can throughout this pandemic as they are both in their 80’s and don’t have a phone so I often get the old fella turning up at the door. Yesterday, he turned up with his wife who had fell. He apparently already took her down to my door at 7am, but as I was out for a run I missed them. I think she is in early stages of dementia, and is starting to shuffle her feet as she walks. I called an ambulance and they arranged a time to come and pick her up, and the old farmer was terribly upset as they have not spent a night apart in the 58 years they have been married. I now have a lodger, who is staying with me until his wife is out of hospital as he cannot visit her due to covid and is terrified she is going to catch it in there as she has only had her first vaccination. Hopefully when she is in there that she is assessed and can get some help, as they really need it. :(

well you're doing a good thing darling. hopefully she won't be in there too long...

Oh @Rita that's such a sad story. It's a bit like my neighbours before they passed away, they never had children and didn't seem to have much family. Towards the end the house behind them really looked after them both. So horrible to see the house they lived in for 50 years be totally ruined by tenants now.

It’s like that episode of South Park where one of them (cartman?) thinks they are milking their dog but actually they’re jacking him off

It’s another Jark classic. Not on the level of setting the alarm to shit at 5 am but close.

Leaving work before it's properly dark <3

First time of the year so far. It'll be spring soon enough :)

Yay my bulbs are coming up nicely and I'm starting to get excited to plant things again :shy: I really need a trip to B&M though.

Is this all going a bit Baby Rollo?
No, he really does have Covid. Well, as much as he can be sure while he waits for a test results. He’s had feverish symptoms on and off for a few days and both him and his mum have lost their sense of taste and smell.
