I’ve recently been moved to an office without a water heater. We aren’t allowed kettles so they gave us some flask jugs to fill with hot water which make everything taste like DUST, so my morning coffee has been RUINED.

Kettles and toasters are banned as they are apparently a fire hazard. Basically some morons have obviously boiled a kettle dry/burnt toast in the past and set off the fire alarm so now nobody is allowed any fun or convenience!

Do the rules specifically say that paraffin stoves are banned? If not, the solution is clear.

It's all to do with unauthorised electronics and having them PAT tested as well isn't it? Everywhere I've worked doesn't have toasters either and has those built in boiled water things on the wall. Can't trust the naughty fully grown adults with KETTLES can we now?

Sounds amazing ! I’ve never dabbled with SPELT myself just done rye and plain mixes

Spelt is fantastic, gives a lovely nutty flavour.

I should have mentioned the flour was from an urban windmill less than a mile walk from my house
