Tuesday is SHOCKED!

Someone changed the subject to "DO NOT REPLY TO ALL" and some THICK CUNT has still replied to all

How do some people manage to stay alive let alone get a job at GSK. Fuck me

To be fair, I wouldn't be able to hold back the compulsion to reply all if someone did that.

About 120 of them in my deleted items folder now. I think every one of them should be fired

We have a shared work Google Calendar and some of my coworkers don't seem to understand that it is not the place for things like dentist appointments or their children's music recitals. So I always get notifications about things that are not related to me or my job

No pumpkin but having a fabulous time at kings cross, just wolfed down a Greggs and now having a white wine in the weird hotel bar that only ever seems to be frequented by northerners.

That one right at the back?

@Lucille darling do say you’re at ST PANCRAS rather than KING’S CROSS. Just adds that extra air of SAVOIR-VIVRE and the blatantly more provincial posters will be JEALOUS AND SPITTING :disco:

Kings cross station was the one and only place I’ve even been mugged

I assume OR WOULD HOPE this was before the redevelopment. Lots of ne’er-do-wells hanging around in those days. Luckily they’ve all died, been run over on purpose or taken their trade to Stamford Hill :disco:

I don’t know when the redevelopment was but I think DURING since there was scaffolding up which is why they were able to do it without anyone seeing

They only took my cash though so it wasn’t that big of a deal

Only? Could have been worse. Could have been your Chanel handbag :(

I’ve only been mugged once in recent years (on a side street off Oxford Street - I may have been a bit tiddly and bewildered) and they took my wallet with my Oyster in it so I had to WALK THOUSANDS OF MILES HOME. Previous incidents included having my wallet swiped in Village Soho and the bread knife incident at a cashpoint in posh ARCHWAY

I’ve never been mugged with a weapon so knock on wood I guess

Does anyone else write a lower case z like it’s a number 3 with the bottom part hanging below the line?

I remember being taught to write it like that when learning joined-up handwriting at school, but stopped soon afterwards.

Sorry to laugh but the “bread knife incident” :D
:D Well I can smile about it now but basically I thought someone in the street was giving me the eye so was thrilled when he followed me to the cashpoint for dead cert bum fun, only for him to wave a large shiny metal one and demand my maximum withdrawal! CAN YOU IMAGINE THE DISAPPOINTMENT

How rude! He should have at least let you blow him

I still write the letter z like that. I think it has an elegance about it.

There’s no other way to write a capital Z than like this though, I think.

I want to start writing my z’s that way. It seems classy

And I love a joined up lower case s. It’s like wave pulling the letters behind it to shore.

Is that the one behind the shops or the one on the corner? Up until right now I thought they were both annexes of the same centre :o

As you turn on to Rupert Street from Lever Street yours is on the right-hand side and this one's on the left-hand side with a massive carpark. They might very well be two parts of the same practice.

@Kate Have you listened to Derren Brown’s two series of podcasts on Audible? They’re really rather very good!

I don't really do podcasts. Are they the ones where he's gone all life coach?
Yes, although they’re much more about human psychology and understanding the brain.

Although I do find life coaching very useful. Listening to those sort of podcasts help keep me focussed and stop me from going off the rails.
