Tuesday is slipping through my fingers

Good luck little Dannii!

And enjoy some child free time Star!

Mandys been away since Friday on the mainland. I never knew how much I'd enjoy my own company and being alone at home! Heathcliff and I have had the best time.

It drives me insane that Mr Sheena rarely fucks off on his own anywhere. He was even supposed to have three years away at uni for his doctorate and I got only one, thanks to Covid.

My ideal relationship would be having mon-thurs on my own and then someone arriving at the weekend. It suits me very well.

I feel you. I think living in a nice pair of adjoining semis with a (lockable) knock through would be quite something as well.

Helena Bonham- Carter and Tim Burton famously had this, didn’t they?

OH TO BE RICH AND A STUPID CUNT

I just blubbed my eyes out at an episode of The Repair Shop (literally never heard of it before) when some experts repaired a model spitfire that had been made by a man who died in the War at 21. It was given to his friend, who passed it down to his son when he died and the son DROPPED IT IMMEDIATELY and smashed it. But now it's repaired.

I think I'm feeling a bit EMOSH.

My mum is obsessed by The Repair Shop. I HATE IT. Overproduced, saccharine shite.

See also that weird one where some woman goes up the tip (Mum calls her “jiggly tits” :D ), “rescues” something out of someone’s boot, takes it off to turn into something else (nearly always a fucking ugly lamp), sells it on the internet and then turns back up at the door of the original dumper with about £30 profit which they always claim they’re giving to charity or spending it on their grandchildren and never revealing what is actually happening and that the minute she has left, they’re on the phone to the LUCKY DRAGON for a “69 for two with prawn crackers”.

GOD I HATE CHEAP TV.

Yes! This should reduce the 3 hours a day I spend in the day commuting and doing pick up drop offs etc! She's all smiles at the moment, let's see...
Does she get on well with other children? It's amazing how they can just go and chat with complete stranger children like it's not socially awkward

Whilst NO SHADE on you, lovely Star, this has just made me realise that coming off Facebook has meant not having to wade through days and days of dreadful “back to school” pics. :disco:

I've changed working locations on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. The new place is next door to a McDonalds. I've not managed to resist a breakfast muffin yet.

Toyah Wilcox and Robert Fripp did this too, at least to start with, bought the two halves of a semidetached. I don't think they live like that now but anyone who had ever worked with Fripp understood where she was coming from, put it that way.

Tuesday is a weird day-off to have during the week. I've got a washing in.

Even as a parent this fucks me off

She does actually. We go to the park, by the time I've sat down on a bench she's already made a friend and is playing with them. Kylie is the opposite though, he'll play on his own or go join Dannii with the friend she's made.

Oh totally! I don't put much up in there, I don't need to when I have this place :disco:

I had a great aunt who had 16 kids. (Irish, obvs)

My grandad was one of 11 (officially 12, because one of his sisters' illegitimate son was brought up with them)

My dad had eleven or more children, but that's easier to do when you don't have to do the birthing.

I do think it was different back in the day when kids just got on with things. Now they need more attention, just doing homework for example takes longer and we do one each. If there was a third child I feel like the others would suffer.

My mates have 3 and say there is little difference than with 2. The eldest quite often looks after the youngest. Still, fuck that.

I actually think this sounds like an amazing relationship :D i might send Mandy away more often.

My younger brother and his wife have a relationship I could never handle. They literally do everything together. If she's in the bath and he needs a poo, he goes in...even tho they have 3 toilets. If she has to go pick her daughter up from somewhere, he goes with her. They never spend time apart.

We had the cutest golden retriever puppy in today called Ezra. And all I can think about is the teacher from Pretty Little Liars. But I think she was actually naked after George.

Also, an INDOOR PLANT SHOP is opening up opposite my shop and I could not be more excited. I shall spend more time there than I do my own shop.
