Jesus, Ms Ron and I are close, we spend most days together working and have a heavily shared social life/circle, but thats too much even for me!

Yeah I don't understand it at all.

One day she came to the shop to pick me and her daughter up. My brother phoned her 3 times to see where she was and how long she would be. Which makes him sound really controlling, he isn't at all...it's just very odd.
 
I've got next week off work alone and am already planning what I'll be doing every day without him.

Kind of pissed off he only works 4 days as well, so I've got to accommodate him in one of them.

You're INCREASING your hours now? When there's all that daytime telly to watch on your own? ARE YOU MAD?

Sadly the cost of living doesn't allow me to only work 3 days! The last 6 years everything I earn goes back out again, but I took the hit as I wanted to be there for them while they were young. Now with a bit extra coming in hopefully we'll get a holiday in the sun next year. I've still got my Fridays off and they'll both be at school now so that's my 'me time', so I still see it as a win.

I'll see how it goes, otherwise @Tisch did message me the other day something about a wax melt making business, so perhaps I'll join him. Apparently I only need to invest 10k and I'm guaranteed to make 250% profit on that in the first year.
 
I'm guessing you don't have to pay for childcare now as they're both at school? Or do you have to pay for after school club?

Holiday on the Isle of Wight, it's not always sunny but it is nice :D

We still need some school clubs as the hours are ridiculously short, but with nursery we were paying about £80 a day and school works out about £60 a week.
 
We deffo will come IoW for the beaches! Plus they'll love the ferry. But I really do need a holiday where I'm not packing my fleece and wellies :shy:

We have had some nice weather this year, like the last week, but annoyingly summer holidays often seem to be rubbish. So I totally get it.
 
I just sang Rollin' by Limp Bizkit at the grandspawn as she's rolled over for the first time today. I did the swearwords and everything then realised that I shouldn't be singing that to a baby so apologised, spawn replied that she'd been singing Wap by Cardi B to her in the car earlier (which I have just googled, absolutely terrible). :D

One of the reasons we moved to spain when Ron Jr was little was the insane cost of having a child in this country. It was better to live abroad and Ms Ron not work than her work full time here. Its disgusting.

Honestly I'm not surprised. Some people don't even earn £80 a day, you're basically working to put your kids in care!
 
Also, latest celebrity to come to the island, Brian May. And he went to the shittest town we have.
