I just watched a video that had Gordon Brown jokes and I am nostalgic for his premiership.

Also some cunts kept talking on the balcony above my window so I have had no sleep whatsoever.
 
I never liked Gordon Brown at the time, which was daft of me.

The screens are allegedly being fitted to our desks today, and the public will be in as of tomorrow. This means I’m no longer able to have a brew at my desk which is, frankly, disgusting.
 
I woke up at 3 after a horrid dream where my kidneys sprouted roots like a potato that came out through my skin. :gross: Took me ages to go back to sleep and now I’m tired. An early night for NOWT.

Can you not just explain that all of the people that you threw hot tea over really had it coming?

So there's a screen separating you and the public and you're not allowed a hot drink in case you dash it over them, but previously you were allowed one when there was no screen...? Am I missing something?!
 
Morning, still groggy from weekend debauchery and have just written my weeks todo list and could have done with starting it Sunday, not Tuesday. So obviously my first thing is to log on to moopy and waste a couple of hours.

We weren’t allowed one before, it’s only been while we’ve had no customers that we can have a drink at our desks. We’ll have the screens AND our standard issue visors, but apparently that’s still not enough protection.
 
If you have a knife in your left hand which you gesticulate wildly with as you talk, it should mitigate any risk from tea based attacks.
 
I've often said that Gordon Brown is the best Prime Minister I've had in my lifetime. And I stick by that.

So as many of you know, I've been spending some time trying to set up a record shop/stall thing over my garden leave period but what you might not know is I've been struggling to find stock- because the tip is closed/ charity shops are. I've been badgering one of my best friends who runs a disaster cleaning company (fire and flood type of thing) and gets LOADS of records in his lock up to actually do something with them rather than just stockpile them. He finally let me at 'em today:

I reckon there's about 1000 albums there, of which 10% interests me in terms of my shop/ keeping for myself (HELLO SUPREMES ORIGINAL ALBUMS IN MINT CONDITION :disco: ) but having spent the last couple of hours on discogs, I also appear to have got a FUCKLOAD of jazz in mint condition which goes for between £5-£10 a shot alongside the actual SHITE. I'm SO FUCKING HAPPY! I want to do this kind of thing for a living...it's just FUN!

I think you’ll find they’re records.
