Tuesday offers to mortgage Necker Island

Our boss shaved his head right enough. Live completely off, something he does not normally do. He looks OK with it actually but why are so many people just going nuts and shaving all their hair off? It's just a bit off.

Absence of a barber I guess. I'm quite enjoying my long hair despite my ongoing battle with male pattern baldness.

My brother had a transplant just before lockdown so is going to emerge with a glorious mane. I'm fuming I didn't go with him.

But I at least I get to see Mrs Bev

I wondered the same but I guess it’s about control. We have limited choices now but we can still do whatever we want with our bodies.

My eyes were watering this morning. Didn't even THINK about hayfever, but yes, you're right.

I'm tempted to shave Mr L's hair off, just for shits and giggles.

I'm still not in the Coronavirus forum, but can I remember (or has anyone started) a Coronavirus soundtrack thread?

One of the surgeries I work at is starting a playlist and their choices are appalling. I'm sure moopy would come up with better.

If you have shorter hair, especially in a particular style, letting it grow for even few weeks beyond when you normally would have had a haircut means it looks beyond SHIT. I missed a haircut just because Christmas year before last and looked like a fucking TORY BACKBENCHER by the time I got it cut in the New Year.

Shaving is the only easy way to take control of the situation without making yourself look like a complete idiot, and the earlier you do it, the quicker it can start growing back in.

That was my initial logic, anyway. Still deciding what to do with it as it grows out though! The situation feels like a bit of an opportunity to experiment with my hair in ways i'm normally not BRAVE enough to consider.

I was already overdue a haircut by about three months at the start of this, so at this point leaving the house requires industrial quantities of pomade and hairspray.

I wouldn't shave it off though. My head is the shape of an upside down egg. I'm going to come out of quarantine looking like Jesus.

I began one with "Evacuate The Dancefloor".

I imagine our choices are a bit more left field than theirs...

Yeah I was due a haircut before lockdown and didn’t get it so I’m coming up to 10 weeks without one. My hair is incredibly thick so getting it into a coherent shape for my few trips outside or to a zoom date are TOUGH.

I found getting out of bed today incredibly tough. I really can’t motivate myself to do anything. I’m now forcing myself on my daily walk as it ALWAYS cheers me up and it’s the ONLY THING TO DO.

I know what you're saying - I last had a trim around AUGUST so I can get away with letting it do its thing because that's what I usually do anyway.

The only one I saw wasn't here but via Twitter and it was almost heroically unfunny.

There is a Coronavirus playlist thread, but it's been a bit neglected since the first couple of days.

I’ve wanted to shave my hair off again for ages, and I’m using this as the perfect excuse to do it. It raises my overall chavviness rating by several hundred points, but it’s just so low maintenance.

Just imagine the impression people will get after meeting you, and then having to acknowledge all their prejudices after they realise what an urban sophisticate you really are, though.

oh

I’m going to quietly drink my WKD, listen to my Clubland Classix playlist, and rise above such hurtful comments.

Well BA aren't going to make it easy for me to get my money back. I don't want a fecking voucher, thank you very much. I guess i'll just be on the phone for an hour trying to get through to your needlessly working admin staff.

You’ve the right to refuse the voucher as far as Martyn Lewis tells me.

Aye, I know. BA (and others, I imagine) have decided to make that route harder. You can kind of see the logic, but it's annoying for me and means their staff have to be sat in call centres.

Hi Moopy.

I went for a run up deserted Ryde pier last night. It was beautiful, but running is shit.

I know my Mum and Dad are battling with Jet2 over this. I’ve got to negotiate a refund from Georgian Airlines soon, Christ alone knows how that will go.

I can't contribute to the hairdo chat as a wet shave every four or five days is par for the course here, but Mx. COB has gone the dye route (including eyebrows) and it looks so cute and I want to see him so badly :(

In other news, my boiler has packed in and I'm waiting on an engineer as we speak! I'm not sure how it all works in the age of corona, but I'm hoping for the cheap thrill of "leave the money on the table" :eyes:
