Tuesday offers to mortgage Necker Island

Yeah I was due a haircut before lockdown and didn’t get it so I’m coming up to 10 weeks without one. My hair is incredibly thick so getting it into a coherent shape for my few trips outside or to a zoom date are TOUGH.

I found getting out of bed today incredibly tough. I really can’t motivate myself to do anything. I’m now forcing myself on my daily walk as it ALWAYS cheers me up and it’s the ONLY THING TO DO.
Oh how I regret saying 'let's keep it a bit LONG on the top this time, shall we? :)' the last time I went get my hair cut. A friend gave me a quick TRIMMING the other day, but only on the sides because a) he doesn't how to do the top and b) I have the same problem with thickness so it's quite tricky to cut properly.

I LOVE a cruise. We've already had one booked for November so we're going to see what happens. But I definitely wouldn't be put off.

Enjoy being trapped at sea in a floating metal prison full of death for months.

I've been on several cruises and always been fine. But I'll wait and see what happens with the one we've got booked. It may get cancelled.

You haven't been on one during a global pandemic though. There are still 4,000 people stuck on cruise ships even after all this time. Imagine being in a cabin with no windows surviving on rations for all that time. Sounds fucking HELLISH to me.

Oh absolutely. But I'm assuming cruises won't run until it's safe. Most have postponed everything for months anyway.

I wouldn't be getting on one until there is a vaccine or this bitch is dead. They're floating germ factories.

Coronavirus is only half the fucking story. There's always gross stories about the pool water being barely treated sewage etc.

I've got Rubik's cube solving down to 4 minutes.

Life is weird at the moment.

My brother knows how to solve them too, it annoys the hell out of me. Every time he visits the first thing he does is pick up the messed up cube from my bookshelf and complete it then the moment he leaves I mess it up again. I asked him to tell me the secret and he just says it's all about the middle square on each side.

I have never actually BEEN on a cruise before. I am MEANT to be going on one with the kids in October for my daughters 18th. Her choice, but yes I am really quite hoping it gets cancelled.

My parents had booked one for September for us all to go on to celebrate various ANNIVERSARIES this year and I was SECRETLY quite pleased when it didn't look like it was going to happen

Then last week I got an email from my dad saying he'd TRANSFERRED it to NEXT YEAR

I'm finding morning walks are sorting me out body clock wise and actually giving me inspiration to go out. Yesterday I did a hike and today I walked down to the seashore. It killed an hour or two, it means I have a late breakfast and don't overeat, and it means I fall asleep at a normal time and I'm not exhausted in the morning.

The only real change is that my running/cycling is in the evening now but that's not a bad thing. I just need the sun to hold out.

I’m alright for catching LEGIONNAIRES off some sweaty old Doris thanks.

There's always horror stories about cruise ships. Norovirus, flu, random bugs. But in our experience, it's one of the cleanest places we've been. They sanitise everywhere throughout the day and you can't walk more than 10 metres without having to wash your hands.

I LOVE a cruise. But it has to be the right cruise. I can't handle too many sea days. But our first one we saw 6 European cities in 13 days and had the most amazing time, visiting places I'd never even dreamt about going to.

Plus it was free food and alcohol 24/7 and someone put a chocolate on my freshly made bed every day.

Between the callout charge today, and the parts and labour for tomorrow I'm down £300 on my boiler :( If only I'd taken out one of those wonderful PLANS all my friends are telling me about :eyes:
