Tuesday plays your body like a pinball machine

I was convinced launching a business in this mayhem was suicide but I’m so grateful for something to focus on and worry about that isnt out of my control

I keep reading about how anxious people are and how stressful this all is (people working and on furlough) and i feel like I'm maybe broken. Because since being on furlough, this is the least stressed I've been in 2 years.

I wouldn't say I'm stressed or anxious about the actual virus, but being cooped up, drinking every day and not leaving the house clearly started to mess with me. I'd be fucked in prison!

it's how COVID-19 is affecting my work (and more specifically my clients) which is causing the anxiety for me. Obviously I'm not unconcerned about the virus, and the worrying about my mother is constant in the background as well.

I’ve had anxiety creep into my life recently, thanks to years of drug abuse I’ve developed a rational approach to telling myself its all in my head but last week I was getting that unavoidable feeling of deep guttural dread that you can’t rationalise with thought. I spent a few hours in nature on the bike yesterday which left my physically knackered, I slept well and woke up full of focus with work. Not to get all instagram fitness guru on you but I can’t recommend a big burst of physical output in the outdoors as a reset. It’s almost as good as a dirty k-hole.
Thanks for this - I actually went on a long walk and at the beginning I had a panic attack for about 20 minutes. I got it under control and have had quite a nice walk since. I still feel quite shaky inside though, but I spoke to my partner about it instead of keeping it in, which is another issue as you don’t want to bring other people down with you.

Walking is definitely my main stress reliever as well. Which obviously is a bit of a problem at present.

I know I keep droning on about breathing exercises and short mindfulness practice, but they do really help me. They don't really tackle the root cause, but they definitely help in those times when I feel everything spinning out of control. With one exception I've prevented a full on panic attack.

My lovely Su, I wish there were quick fixes with this stuff (I haven't found any). But the two things that I keep doing are lots of breathing exercises and guided meditations, and writing down how I feel. Sometimes getting it out of your head and onto the page can be super helpful. Try them both (in addition to the exercise/open air) and be really patient with yourself.

My daily walks have kept me sane. If I miss a day I notice.

I’m over it today and I think it showed on my second zoom meeting how I just didn’t give a fuck about converting old emails to PDFs. I just want to lie in bed and not leave.

Absolutely this. I hadn't been out for a couple of days, and today I literally sat on the sofa all day not wanting to do much. Mandy forced me to go for a walk at 6pm with her and I'm pleased I did. Although it's sad seeing everywhere so quiet.

Yeah this topic pushed me and Mr Ag out the house. I've had sex and walked four miles. I'm KNACKERED.

I feel like I should have sex. Mandy keeps asking but I just can't be arsed.

Poor Mandy. I can feel her frustration from here. Surely you could manage a quick round or two of playing screwnicorns?

My friend recently went LEZ and her major issue with the sex is that it just goes ON and ON as there’s no natural end point.

At least when FELLAS cum, they immediately lose all interest and you can get on with your day!

I’ve had sex with two self declared Lesbians and I’m certain that means they all just crave a proper good cock from time to time.

It's true...it can last for EVER. Fortunately Mandy is very easy and very quick. Whereas I am not, but I refuse to stop until I've had an orgasm. We've got it down to about 20 minutes for both of us if we're in a hurry.

I don’t know what the fuck screwnicorns are - maybe it’s a WEST COUNTRY thing - but selfish cow @Rachey could at least treat poor Mandy to a cornichon up the nancy, even if she’s not in the mood for slipping her a sticky finger. Every girl loves a gherkin :disco:

(Back in my normal incarnation soon xxx)

:D I once got off with someone who told me that he “couldn’t cum in company.” I mean can you imagine the irritation? Mercifully he turned out to be quite boring - and fell asleep during a Haneke film on our second date (my idea :side-eye:) - so he didn’t get another round which was just as well given that I’d probably have eventually barked, “Oh just get on with it freak. I’m off to the fridge for a packet of Bockwurst”

THIS. I used to live above a pair of lezzers- Lucy and Misty. Well, the latter was less Misty and more ”permanently overcast”, but they just went at it hammer and tongs NIGHT AFTER NIGHT. You’d hear the orgasm and then the other one would start on the first one and round and round we go again. I had to go down and have a word. The ceilings so were thin you could LITERALLY hear the squelching.
