I spent about nine quid on a metal cat shit shoveler. Seemed a bit steep, but it has revolutionised my shit play.

Mine was only £3. Its one that traps the shit. The trip from the spare room to the toilet, although short, has been a high risk venture. Not anymore :disco:

THE ONLY WAY IS UP
BABY
FOR YOU AND ME NOW

Oh, GOOD. That means I only have to wait until early September before things start looking up> Can I cope until then? Keep reading Moopy to find out!

Running the show solo today - my colleague's daughter had an Indigenous presentation at school and they put some sort of ceremonial paint on her and she proceeded to break out in to HIVES instantly.

Who broke out in hives; the daughter due to a reaction to the paint or the colleague having an adverse reaction to an indigenous presentation happening at her daughter's school? We get an awful lot of the latter in the UK, you see...

:D Just the daughter, though I was close myself when I realized I'd have to take care of her inbox all day...

Fuck me. One of my tutors wants us to read a book a fortnight and pay £50 for the privilege. Fuck that shit.

OK, that needs context...certainly sounds like a scam.
Basically the essential reading isn't readily available from the library, so he's said we all buy them online which amounts to over £50. We get marked on our seminar input so its absolutely essential. I know it's not much, but I don't work and have to pay my tuition fees, which leaves me with fuck all. My above purchases were a very rare treat for myself because I had a tiny bit spare. What the fuck do they spend tuition fees on, if not essential reading?

/rant.

When I was at university an irritating proportion of the required reading texts appeared to have been written by the lecturer who was setting the course. Though, frankly, just one of those is an irritating proportion.

That's bollocks. Are the books written by the staff because that happened to me when I was at Uni. Absolute scam.

Charging everything. The winds are high outside. Power cuts across Essex apparently. I can't do without my phone or vape.

The wind here is ridiculous. I am right on the coast with no buildings between me and the sea so it’s battering my place right now. I feel sleep isn’t going to be easy.

Make sure your roof is secure :)

We're on flood alert. I think our side of the river is fine, but I'd be very nervous if I was on the other bank. I'm sure it will fuck travel up, but griping about that seems inappropriate given what some may lose.
