Tuesday wears the same jumper twice

Good Morning

Still rubbish, still big black Covid line, it’s raining and I’m eating beans on toast which Mr Sheena has made me and I can’t taste.

My dad has Covid just now as well. He's in good health but he's also 77 so I'm worried. He's doing OK, just feeling like a very heavy cold to him at the moment.

After 3 seamless journeys to work from the BOWELS of London that I now live in, I have now had my first taste of TRAIN CHAOS.

I'm off today, Mandy is at work, I have no plans, and in very excited to have a day to myself with absolutely no one to talk to after 11 days being with people 24/7.

We all need that every so often. Enjoy!

I'm at work but all the senior leaders have gone on a jolly so i have no meetings. High likelihood of dossing today.

Roadworks have started on my road for a full week. They're currently drilling outside my house. The house is vibrating.

I was meant to be at work but we were in A&E until late (Mr Ag, not me - he's fine).

So that all sucks.

In better news my Brexit passport has arrived complete with new name. It took 7 days! Colour me impressed.

I am watching Ben and Cat on This Morning. Was she always this DAFT? What a breath of fresh air.

Good day

Today I am going to force myself to go to the gym after work. It is happening.

Had no coffee in and no milk for a tea, and it was fucking hanging out this morning so just cracked on.

Spent all morning being fucking useless, thinking I was suffering from burnout. Went to get my haircut at 1, had a coffee in the barbers and then came home and was fine.

Caffeine withdrawal is a serious condition kids, stay on drugs.

I definitely had caffeine withdrawal a few year back. Mainly headaches and fatigue. I'd get it every week, and attributed it to the fact that on that day, I was working in a room with no natural light. It took me a while to realise that it was because it was in an area with no decent coffee shops, or coffee facilities in the staff room.

I refused to use instant coffee, so just started having a caffeine tablet instead on that day, and then I was fine.

Mind you, I've also had it where I was getting palpitations and tremors from too much coffee some days as well.

Now I restrict myself to two coffees a day, and never after 7pm. Unless I'm eating out, because I can't eat a meal and not have coffee. It doesn't feel finished. I'd genuinely rather skip dessert.

Decaf babe, if you’re not anal about that.

Though I was told by someone recently, that it’s such a pain in the arse for restaurants to have both options that some places still serve you the fully caffeinated version even when you ask for decaf :D and I have had a new fear unlocked since :)

In France I fully imagined they would laugh in your face if you asked for decaf. Or spit in your face and/or coffee.

I drink about 3 instant coffees a day, but if I don't have any for a day I'm fine. In Paris I was having 2 proper coffees in cafes a day and a couple of instant. I genuinely don't feel like caffeine does anything for me. I can have it at 10pm and still sleep.

I’m a coffee newbie but I easily get the tremors, but it doesn’t affect me having it late.

I normally have an oat milk latte at breakfast or a double-double espresso and that’s my lot for the day.

I've got an appointment at the heart institute in a couple of weeks, and I just KNOW I'm going to be told off about coffee and cheese

And probably SAXA, so PERTINENT INDEED

Yeah I get palpitations if I have more than 3 coffees and I've been to the gym. Quite like it in a weird way.

Oooh I’m a decaf only drinker! I’m extremely sensitive to caffeine, if I have a coffee and drink it veeeeery slowly I can get away with it but I started experiencing tremors after drinking 3-5 cups per day, which let to a shaking panic attack in the work toilets (mortifying, I literally got sent home) around 2 years ago. Spoke to my doctor and she told me to avoid it completely.

I love the taste so decaf it is! Otherwise I’d just go without.

Who wants to buy some decoked cocaine? Same price as normal chisel without the side effects?
