Glasgow today. lovely weather, feels like home

It’s a standard Scottish summer!
I’m looking forward to the supposed thunderstorms on Thursday.
it really is like home. last three summers have been spent in places with 30+ degrees so it's a welcome change
Balmaha yesterday was hot though but that was probably down to the climb up the hill... I am in appalling shape
I just had to google Balmaha and I have lived here for the best part of 15 years. How long are you here for? What’s on the itinerary?
was a lovely Place! went to the island just across, lunch at the inn and then the hike up Conic Hill. stunning views of the loch
we're vacating the converted barn we're staying in Thursday and then Mr M and I will have a day to ourselves in Edinburgh
I'm the only person drinking on this train![]()

. I emailed him back to tell him that we wouldn't be proceeding with his application.I'm the only person drinking on this train![]()
Can't believe I used to walk from Walton Park to the OU to Peartree Bridge for a quick one and on to the dole office and all the way back. It's fucking miles. BRING ME TAXIS
Was supposed to be interviewing a lad who's applied to be our new apprentice at work this morning. His CV left a lot to be desired but he'd seemed really keen when he dropped it off a few weeks ago so I said we should give him a chance. His interview appointment was 11am and he emailed the boss at 10.57am saying he was at a friend's funeral so would be late. So I replied fifteen minutes later to let him know that we'd received the email and would get back to him, to which his immediate reply was "is it possible to do it another day because i am really interested in this position" - remember, he's at his friend's funeral right now. I emailed him back to tell him that we wouldn't be proceeding with his application.
You should join Mats in Scotland, here you're lucky if the driver isn't half cut...
What happened to the one who kept not turning up? Was he on spice?
Milton Keynes is the town that produced the highest number of Moopyrate winners per capita in the world [citation needed]
Maybe?
Boss is sorting out new contracts for us all and after that she can go down the warnings route and sack him if necessary. We don't know what he's on but he's rarely here before half past nine and last Friday he tipped up at midday, stinking of ale with an excuse that his phone was broken so his alarm hadn't gone off. He went to get a Subway for lunch at 1pm (much to our surprise), got back to the office and spent the next half-hour throwing up intermittently then went home sick blaming heatstroke. We all knew he was still pissed from the night before and the throwing up was his hangover kicking in.
Who would have guessed there was ever passionate homosex in Milton Keynes?
@Diddy Stop trying to make Milton Keynes happen! You moved to the other side of the world to get away from it!
what a claim! That sounds like someone with a serious problem.
